2015/4/1: Atari 2600: Cosmic Commuter, Gravitar, 50 Shades of Grey

Very nice rewrite of the Gravitar review. Now the game gets the credits it deserves!

From the old review, I only miss the reference to Thrust. [smile]

[QUOTE=videogamecritic]Yeah I agree this is much-needed feature. The problem is, the forums are currently a service I use, which is basically a separate site. I really don't have the capability to easily link them.[/QUOTE]
Understood.

Meanwhile, how about linking to the r...

[QUOTE=videogamecritic]Thomas,
Thanks for the feedback. You know I respect your opinion. I'm actually taking an approach similar to the one you described. I don't want to force the reader to click read-more if there's only one or two lines left. [/QUOTE]
Maybe it is my o...

Maybe some a slightly enhanced rule would help: Enable the switch only for reviews longer than x*n and then cut down to x.

So with e.g. x = 1333 and n = 1.5, reviews up to 2000 characters would not be cut, and all longer reviews will we cut to 1333. [Read More] would then reveal at least ...

Why was that added to the website? Usually only maybe 20% of the review are hidden that way, so IMO it makes little sense. And it impairs the reading fluency, sometimes I even missed the last few sentences.

Either stick with "Most Votes" (nothing wrong with that), because that exactly describes how the ranking is generated. Or use something like "Most Common".

Eve though it may look odd, leaving out the (obvious) top and bottom borders is pretty smart as it provides the game some more of the much needed vertical space.

Good idea! [thumb]

"Poplular" may be understood as "Liked". But a vote may not mean that. E.g. E.T. got quite a lot of votes, even though it is not really "liked".

Any special reason for your disdain for invisible mazes?

BTW: With the right tactic you can play level 5 with the maze visible whenever it really counts (present and top right fire). To me it is just another challenge. Maybe you should limit your disdain to always&n...
