Prey

I just finished this game last night and it was great overall. The atmosphere reminded me a lot of Bioshock and the combat was unique with some of its weapons (GLOO gun) as well as it's powers, although I didn't use many of the alien powers by choice. The game takes place on a space station (inside ...

Re: Star wars the last jedi spoilers ahead.

I just saw this movie over the holiday and while it was not perfect, I thought it was awesome and memorable. There were a few disappointments for me but all Star Wars movies have a few disappointments, some more than this movie. I would agree that the casino scene was unnecessary and at the very lea...

Re: Call of Duty WWII has "Requires Content Download" on front label

So, I'm obviously one of those people that will continue to buy these games when they come out because I enjoy them enough to warrant a Black Friday price reduction. This game/series has seen a lot of backlash lately, perhaps some of it deservedly but certainly some of it unfair. With this game, I f...

Call of Duty WWII has "Requires Content Download" on front label

I picked up Call of Duty WWII via Amazon during Black Friday/Cyber weekend sales and was surprised to see a small banner on the bottom the box saying "Requires Content Download". Not meant to debate the pros or cons of mandatory downloads for physical games (or possibly single player games...

Re: Xbox One backwards compatiility

Personally, Crimson Skies is one of my favorites from any generation but doesn't the inclusion of Psychonauts and Knights of the Old Republic give Xbox some unique 'exclusives' this holiday? I would imagine a lot will be missing from peoples wishlist. That seems like a given considering the hundreds...

Re: Does Nintendo hate money?

I don't think Nintendo hates money but clearly the decision making at the executive level isn't always ultimately the best move......something many companies are guilty of. I'd love to be a fly on the wall at some of these company meetings.

How Xbox can lose a loyal fan

It’s been a rough year for Xbox One fans. Personally, I’ve enjoyed everything I’ve played this year, whether it was an exclusive (Halo Wars 2, Voodoo Vince, Gears of War 4, and Forza Horizon 3 expansions), replaying Halo 5 in online co-op, or playing the entire Dead Space 3 game co-op online with a ...

Re: Hell Yeah! Wrath of the dead rabbit (PS3/360)

I actually enjoyed this game quite a bit. My friend did probably about 80% of the work since I am terrible at this type of game but we made it all the way through with 100% completion and had a lot of laughs (and some frustration). I would give this a strong B+

Re: Favorite Lyricists?

I only have one and a group honorable mention Fish (Marillion/Solo) - Probably the best lyrics in all of rock music. His lyrics have saved me on more than one occasion. They can be a little political and certainly not a great singer but the lyrics more than make up for that. Genesis (Peter Gabriel, ...

Re: Drummers

I love these music lists. In no particular order: Terry Bozzio (UK, Frank Zappa) - Not really a Frank Zappa fan but I found this performance amazing https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R2gLggbIipc Phil Collins (Genesis) - Probably the most underrated drummer in my opinion. In the heyday of Genesis, most...
