I Spy: A Book of Picture Riddles
Anyone ever read these books? They were everywhere back in the 90s' and I couldn't get enough of them as a kid. I love how the sets they use feel mysterious and give the reader a giant sense of awe and isolation. What's really surprising is that the challenges as an adult are really tough! I have to...

Re: Music!
Also, you can't list classic game music without bringing up the Donkey Kong Country games. You just can't.

Re: Music!
No one has said Chrono Trigger, so everyone is wrong
Sonic 3 and Knuckles also had an insane soundtrack, as did Super Mario 64's mix of ethereal, haunting tunes. And yeah, Symphony of the Night has a phenomenal soundtrack.

The Room (Best movie ever)
Anyone ever see this? It's so awful it's actually art. My brother and I watched it several months back and it was hysterical. Good intentions but awfully executed film, but all the more entertaining. I post this because I just recently saw Disaster Artist, which was amazing. I won't give anything aw...

Re: Baseball in Decline?
I was actually at the Indians game last night where they thrashed the Tigers, and the attendance was extremely low as well. I don't mind watching my team for 3 hours, but for anyone else (unless it's the Astros), yeah, it can be a chore. A time limit in innings (like quarters in football/basketball)...

Pokemon Red (Game Boy)
With all the RPGs I've played, I decided to pop in my Pokemon Red cartridge into my GameCube's Game Boy Player. Having been one of the first games I played as a kid in the late 90s, I can say this has surprisingly aged well. What's made the Pokemon series refreshing compared to other RPGs are three ...

The Hobbit (GBA)
I found this in my storage, apparently having owned it for quite some time without playing it. I decided to change that today, and to be honest, I like this game! This is basically a 2D Zelda clone but the controls and design are generally good. I love constantly getting upgrades in power in the for...

I dishwash. The people and benefits are nice (I get free food), but it's dishwashing. It's gonna suck.

Best Wario game?
With all the great stuff Nintendo does, we often forget how good the Wario games are. They're innovative, offbeat, lowbrow, and a lot of fun. So what's the best game in the franchise? My vote goes to Wario Land 4. For being the 4th game in the series, it feels fresh and is addicting as hell. It stri...
