Atari Jaguar kiosk: http://atariage.com/forums/topic/269294 ... s-in-2017/

Saw one of these in the background of one of those videos. I'm glad to get a better look at it.

New Mario Movie by Illumination?

http://www.cartoonbrew.com/feature-film/minions-maker-illumination-working-mario-bros-feature-154628.html If it gets made it'll be the 3rd movie based on the popular game franchise. The first is the rarely seen Great (or Grand) Mission to Rescure Princess Peach. The other was a live action film made...

Re: Online Gaming is a mess

Just a reminder: This "pay-to-win" model didn't start with developers; it started with modders, pro-gamers. Ten or so years ago there was a back alley economy for online games; some players would create a character, get it to a certain skill level, then sell access to their account on ebay...

It does sound like a fun, twitchy, original puzzle game.

Re: Favorite old websites?

I could go on and on and on about this. ;) Sites I used "back in the day" include this site, AtariAge, epguides, smbhq, TVTome, themushroomkingdom, badmovies.org, StompTokoyo, ColdFusionVideoReviews, Classic Gaming.com's Pac-Man Fan page, GameSpy, TSR's Nes Archive, NesWorld, and...wow, s...

AtariAge thread: http://atariage.com/forums/topic/205836-wyvern-tales/ Mostly folks saying that the game looks good and th...

Re: Kiosks

I actually like the download kiosk idea a bit more than downloading games at home. At least with the kiosk I get something I can hold in my hand. Besides, Romox had a cool logo, and Xante's carts were a nice shade of blue. :)

Re: Kiosks

http://atariage.com/company_page.php?SystemID=2600&CompanyID=93 Romox carts were supposed to be $24.95. Games were $10. Inflation would bring that to $61.95 for the cart and $24.83 for the game. https://data.bls.gov/cgi-bin/cpicalc.pl?cost1=24.95&year1=198301&year2=201701 https://data.bl...
