Re: Recommend some anime!

Ardman still makes stop mot6ion, yes, tho he has done some CG work (Flushed Away,) and his more recent stop-mo films have used some CG FX. As far as I know hand-drawn computer animation is less expensive than 3D CGI. Not sure how much more it would cost to do it drawn animation with cells. Animation...

Re: The trash that is on Amazon Prime

I might suggest Sandy Frank's Fugitive Alien movies. They're edited from a Japanese TV series, and have a Message From Space vibe. (At least the one I saw had a Message From Space vibe.) I've not seen any of the others you listed, tho I'm interested in Starcrash . From what I've seen, Luigi Cozzi ha...

Re: Recommend some anime!

I guess I misunderstood. When I read "traditional hand-drawn animation" I was thinking classic animation cells. I was wondering how in the world that would be viable today. Companies like Filmation always found ways to do it cheaply, and I'm sure computers could help by producing the inte...

Re: Worst 50 Games of All Time!

I'm a bit surprised SwordQuest WaterWorld was listed; usually it's considered the best game in the series. Was the concept simply too old by the time it came out? Is it too expensive/rare to justify the price? Granted, none of the SwordQuest games are good ; they're just about moving items between r...

Re: Recommend some anime!

I did not know hand drawn animation cells were still viable in Japanese animation. That is interesting. The animation's drawn by hand, but it's usually scanned into a computer; no major production uses cells anymore. The last show to use cells was the long-running family series Sazae-San, which sta...

If you like bad movies, might I suggest getting an account at badmovies.org? http://www.badmovies.org/forum/index.php

You might also like The B-Movie Message Board, tho I should note it is rather slow: https://www.tapatalk.com/groups/bmmb/

Missing Jaguar Games

https://youtu.be/o457jl9zZbs Behold a video of Phear, the unreleased Atari Jaguar game which eventually became Tetrisphere on the N64. A few of these unreleased Jag games look pretty good, on par with early PSX games. I doubt Atari could have turned things around in 1996, but still, it would be nice...

Re: Worst 50 Games of All Time!

I was a little afraid this would just be your Atari Jaguar page, sans Wolfenstien 3D and Tempest 2000. ;)
