Re: 2600 Keystone Kapers. How great!

One of my favorite games of all time! My father and I would go to tag sales when I was a kid, we picked it up for 25 cents, and it quickly became one of our favorite 2600 games. Activision was on point during that era, if you haven't picked up Kaboom and River Raid yet, get on it!

Ah you guys. I still love Tenchu. Never really liked the second game though.

Re: Console fragmentation and consequences

The existence of the upgraded PS4 and XBone is as bad as the 32X. They should have left weel enough alone and let the small minority of people bitching about graphics keep bitching.

Re: Confess Your Unpopular Video Game Opinions

Dark Souls had crap controls and bored the shit out of me. XIII was criminally underrated with a great local four-player multiplayer mode. As a fan of B- and C-grade movies, Sega CD FMV games are good fun. I see no problem with playing ROMs if you can't afford an old game or want to try it out befor...

Re: Game Informer South Park Issue

I don't like Game Informer. It's a thin magazine light on content, and the reviews seem bought, as you said. Man oh man. Why are they bothering to release the PS4 Pro if it can't play 4K Blu-Rays or games? It UPSCALES? Somebody at Sony is out of their minds. Where Sonic went wrong...watch this inste...

Rayman SNES Rom found by creator Michel Ancel!

As the title says, the Rayman SNES Rom was found by creator Michel Ancel. It was supposedly lost for years but here it is: https://www.instagram.com/p/BL5fSliA2bD/ https://www.instagram.com/p/BL5f5XIAfa5/ IIRC Michel owns the Rayman character, so he could legally dump the ROM for us to play. I'm a h...

Re: Most Worthless Console You have Ever Owned?

The 3DO retailed for $700 when it first launched. I had a friend who traded in all of his Super Nintendo and Sega Genesis games to buy one. I warned him against it, but he wasn't hearing me. At least he gave me his Genesis Model 1 deck, which I used as part of a trade-in to get Chrono Trigger on day...

Re: Old game magazines

I still have all of my old EGM's, EGM2's, Next Generation/NextGen's, GamePro's, and DieHard GameFan's. My favorite for years was EGM, closely followed by DieHard GameFan. I started out with GamePro and EGM but it became apparent GamePro favored some games over others. That said, I learned about game...

Re: Shovel Knight (3DS)

The Wii U version had a physical release too. It's a worthy purchase and a great game.
