Re: Your most valuable games

Things are only worth what other people pay for them. See alot of dreaming and fantasy prices. Good lord. Do you have to be a wet blanket in every thread that you participate in? Don't like it? Don't read it. Keep it movin, son. Quote my entire post if you're going to quote me. People seem to think...

Nothing valuable in my collection. Just some videogames for entertainment purposes.

Re: eShop Pricing Makes No Sense

Physical retailers and hardware companies are partners. Nintendo could sell digitally for less, but as long as they still get a large percentage of their hardware and software sales through those physical partners, then there is a risk that if they undercut them with lower digital download prices f...

Re: eShop Pricing Makes No Sense

Nintendo is the only company of the three that deadlocks your downloads to ONE system. And ONE system only. Unacceptable. How they're getting away with it, baffles me. Lose your system or gets stolen? Sorry. You're at the mercy of the almighty overlord Nintendo. Are people that horny for Mario and Z...

Re: Sega - 15 years later

Nah, I don't see it. Sega's home console success was a flash in the pan. The time was right for someone to stand up to the arrogant bully Nintendo was and they just so happened to have a powerful 16-bit console. You can thank Nintendo for their short success too. If they weren't sueing someone, they...

SilveryFire wrote: Don't people ever get tired of spouting this garbage? The Snes was not technically superior to the Genesis. It had more colors and a bigger color palette. That's it. True; the SNES massacred the Genesis by having about 8 times as many colors and 5 times as many simultaneous color...

Re: Sega - 15 years later

A couple of thoughts on some of the points made here. The notion that Sega could have made more money had they held onto the Genesis for a couple years longer is a little flawed, in my opinion. Sega had a habit of releasing some of their consoles at an interim. It was technically superior to the NE...

Lemme guess, Kimble Justice? He does some nice retrospectives. His older "Mega Weeviews" are entertaining too.

Re: Sega - 15 years later

I don't know why you're knocking Virtua Striker, "SilveryFire". You seem so high on Worldwide Soccer '97, but that game resembles Virtua Striker and was probably made by the same people. Also, the first soccer game released for the Saturn in North America, International Victory goal, look...
