Re: 2018/6/10: Xbox One: Super Lucky's Tale

Critic I know you are going to love this. Collect the golden coins and then go to the shop and buy outfits for the fox. In a title update they added that wonderful thing to do. So now you can add it to your review of this Nintendo wannabe Rare Wannabe game. I must say it is so much better than Buzb...

Paragraphs?

I have a guest review from a friend which is three short paragraphs, and I don't want smush them together. It's always been my style to condense everything into a single paragraph, to keep things uniform and also to encourage shorter reviews. However, for longer reviews this can result in an unsight...

I bought the PS4 version for about $20, and I think the Switch version was $40 at the time.
Last time I checked however they were more comparable in price.

Re: Maybe it’s time to move on from E3?

One title I was surprised to hear about was a new Ridge Racer - for the Switch I think.
I hope it's not ruined by all the DLC and online stuff.
I just want an old-fashioned arcade racer that's 1) complete and 2) fun.

Re: 2018/6/12: Turbografx-16: Cratermaze, Dragon's Curse

I actually did make a slight change to the Sega Master System Wonder Boy III review. I dropped the grade to an A- and mentioned you had to use the pause button on the console to access the item menu. I am in the process of reviewing the PS4 version of Wonder Boy III. I probably would have preferred ...

Jurassic World

I've always been a big fan of the Jurassic Park films and really looking forward to this new one. The first was the best by far. Best story, best characters, and for my money the best special effects. I can watch it over and over. The second, Lost World, was a letdown compared to the first, but stil...

2018/6/12: Turbografx-16: Cratermaze, Dragon's Curse

I'd definitely recommend these two Turbografx titles!

Re: Solo (Spoiler Alert)

I definitely felt Star Wars fatigue... especially after just recently picking up Last Jedi on Blu Ray. That movie does not improve with repeated viewings, sadly. I do have one critique about Solo. The new guy seems likable enough but doesn't dominate the screen like Harrison Ford did. I thought he r...
