I was reading an article about Blockbusters shutting down: https://arstechnica.com/information-technology/2018/07/alaskas-last-two-blockbusters-are-shutting-down-leaving-one-in-us/ In one of the comments someone complained about the lack of movie selection on Netflix's online service. I have noticed...

Street Fighter Shoryuken Move

My friend Brent pointed out that the dragon punch move in street fighter is called a "Shoryuken", which contains the names of the main two Street Fighter characters: Sho - Ryu - Ken. Coincidence?

Re: RBI Baseball 95 (Sega 32X)

Well I got the cart, and it works. The old one was actually broken! In all my years of collecting, only a handful of carts have been completely broken. Anyway I popped in the game and couldn't stop playing! It's pretty good - combining the realistic of World Series Baseball and the arcade action of ...

Re: 2018/7/12: Nintendo Switch: Mario Tennis Aces

Yet another time where I think it would bw much more helpful to your readers if you listed the developer of the game, not the publisher. These days Nintendo doesn't always make their sports games, and some developers have better track records than other. For example, Wayforward made the amazing Mar...

The Crew 2 game review

I was reading this review of Ubisoft's The Crew 2 game, and it made me realize how annoying the state of game reviews is today. https://arstechnica.com/gaming/2018/07/the-crew-2-review-where-is-everybody/ Clearly this game is just plain bad, but two lines really got under my skin: - The Crew 2 is go...

I am so glad they did not tinker with the gameplay, as the original game was a masterpiece.
I am however quite glad they upgraded the graphics and sound! Bravo!

2018/7/8: Sega 32X: Pitfall: The Mayan Adventure

Posted my review for Pitfall the Mayan Adventure for the 32X, and I think this concludes my string of Mayan Adventure reviews.
What do you think?

Mario Tennis Aces (Switch)

I was sure this was going to be the next big thing, but I'm just not feeling it. Mario Tennis Aces begins slowly, with a lot of gimmicks, mini-games, and boss battles. I thought that was just to get you up to speed with the controls, but I'm starting to think the whole game is like this. There's ver...
