Re: Capcom releasing Resident Evil 7 on Switch, In the Dumbest Way Imaginable

I don't see why this is such a horrible idea. I know many people who don't keep their old games, they basically play them to completion and trade them in. To them, they will never replay that game again, so why keep it? This was my mindset until the late 90's. Then all those games I swore I'd never...

Re: Best and Worst Console Designs

I still don't know what the purpose is of that "flow chart" diagram on front of the Sega Master System. Did they need something to fill that space??

Atari game in movie?

I was watching a movie the other night that was set in the 1980's, and there were some kids playing an Atari 2600. I think the movie was American Made (with Tom Cruise). Anyway the game was Snoopy and the Red Baron, although the sound effects were just random noises that didn't match the game. Did a...

The video game industry would love this model. The customer doesn't get a game for his money; only a "ticket" to play it for a short period of time. Personally I think garbage like this drives people to embrace the physical media!

Sega World Article

I stumbled upon an interesting article about Sega World. Apparently it was an amusement park in Australia in the late 90s. A few artifacts from it remain in a junkyard.

Re: Dragon's Curse (Turbografx-16)

Great point Sonic. How many games from that era merit physical release in 2018?
It really speaks to the quality of the game.

Dragon's Curse (Turbografx-16)

Took me years to track this one down, but I like it. Can't stop playing it really. It's essentially an enhanced version of Wonder Boy III: The Dragon's Trap for the Sega Master System, but the graphics are better and there's a nice save feature I went back and played The Dragon's Trap for a little w...
