Re: Peter Jackson's King Kong (Xbox 360) — On Top of the World

It seems like this game was never held in high regard back in the day, and I have no idea why.

Re: GameStop selling comics...

If that article's real, they didn't spend enough time training their employees to spot fakes, so they wound up with a ton of problems. :( I never considered this! But I guess it's a big issue now in this era of near-perfect reproductions. Heck now I'm wondering if any of the games I've bought off E...

Re: GameStop selling comics...

Not a big comics guy, but I like the idea of diversifying. I'm just wondering why they don't get in the business of buying and selling classic games. Seems like there's a lot of mark-up there. Also, they might want to consider selling those Diamond statues. They look amazing and seem pretty popular ...

Adventure hacks (Atari 2600)

Currently reviewing two hacks of Adventure (Atari 2600): Misadventure and Another Adventure. Misadventure has amazing dragons but the castles in Another Adventure blew me away. Both have good and bad things about them. I'll review both, but in fairness I'll probably stick with NA grades since they a...

I was reading an article about Blockbusters shutting down: https://arstechnica.com/information-technology/2018/07/alaskas-last-two-blockbusters-are-shutting-down-leaving-one-in-us/ In one of the comments someone complained about the lack of movie selection on Netflix's online service. I have noticed...

Street Fighter Shoryuken Move

My friend Brent pointed out that the dragon punch move in street fighter is called a "Shoryuken", which contains the names of the main two Street Fighter characters: Sho - Ryu - Ken. Coincidence?

Re: RBI Baseball 95 (Sega 32X)

Well I got the cart, and it works. The old one was actually broken! In all my years of collecting, only a handful of carts have been completely broken. Anyway I popped in the game and couldn't stop playing! It's pretty good - combining the realistic of World Series Baseball and the arcade action of ...

Re: 2018/7/12: Nintendo Switch: Mario Tennis Aces

Yet another time where I think it would bw much more helpful to your readers if you listed the developer of the game, not the publisher. These days Nintendo doesn't always make their sports games, and some developers have better track records than other. For example, Wayforward made the amazing Mar...
