Looney Tunes Blu Rays

When I was a kid I'd love watching TV on Saturday morning. There were a lot of great shows (Land of the Lost comes to mind) but the mainstay was the Bugs Bunny/Road Runner show. These cartoons, most of which came out of the 1950s, were timeless classics and I couldn't get enough of them. So now I ow...

Re: Nintendo Is Being a Little Too Quiet

I have to admit there are no Switch titles on the horizon that have me excited. I'd be psyched about the upcoming ports, except I was on board with Nintendo during the Wii U days, so it's all old to me.

Re: King of Kong: A Fistful of Quarters

As for replay value, I watched the director's commentary last night and it was very informative. It explained how they filmed everything, and also filled in some plot holes. For example, the first tape Billy sent was the wrong one, hence the guy with the FedEx package. There's also a second commenta...

Re: Cats like this icon idea?

That icon might be tricky to pull off in 32x32 resolution. Also, this isn't "cats play this icon". LOL

I did find a free at icon that shrinks down pretty well:

Transworld Snowboarding (Xbox)

I'm a pretty big fan of snowboarding and this is the real deal. Transworld Snowboarding is like the Tony Hawk of snowboarding games! Beautiful locations and very forgiving gameplay. Makes me sad the winter is almost over.

Re: Getaway (Atari XEGS)

Yeah, but that isn't the most representative screenshot. There's a lot more variety in the scenery. Also, playing it on an old-fashioned TV makes the edges look a lot less harsh.

Re: Ad pop ups?

It sounds like the problem isn't prevalent, so that's a good thing. But if it does happen I want people to report it immediately!

Re: Glossary Needs An Update

With your help I was able to make extensive additions to the Video Game Terms page.

Let me know about any mistakes or omissions.

Next I'm thinking about adding some pictures to better explain some of the concept. Good idea?

2018/2/24: Bally Astrocade: Castle of Horror, Sea Devil, Bowling

I noticed I hadn't reviewed any Astrocade titles for a while. I'm not sure there are any left after this!

Getaway (Atari XEGS)

Somebody tipped me off to this years ago, but I only recently snagged a copy from B&C Electronics: http://www.myatari.com/atarixld.txt This game basically pioneered all the elements of the Grand Theft Auto series. It's a 2D driving game that lets you freely drive around an open world, snagging c...
