Re: Systems You Have Sold Off

Selling my childhood AdventureVision for 20 bucks back in 1987 was a huge mistake.

Re: Dragster record being questioned

I've been crying foul on this guy for decades. His records are all fraudulent. He was just banned from twin galaxies, and his records have been scrubbed from Guinness. The referee that confirmed Todd's records was Todd's friend. He got a score of 1,698 in Wabbit, apparently. A game which only has sc...

Re: Super Retro-Cade (Retrobit)

Just got through playing all the games. Putting together a system review, which should be posted new week. I can't believe just how good this thing is. I think now that you've seen how something like this SHOULD be done, you can see why I was so [mod edit: profanity] harsh on the Retrobit Generatio...

Re: Review Wish List

Body Harvest, I've requested this one for YEARS.

Super Retrocade. With the way he gushed over the Generations, he might have a heart attack over the much better done retrocade.

Re: How is Your original Xbox and PS2 Hooked Up?

My PS2 for the longest time has been hooked up to my EDTV CRT, which looks AMAZING. But, if you're planning to hook it up to an HDTV, HDMI converters ARE available, but I can not vouch for the quality. I have however used a FrameMeister before. While the hookup is a tad complicated, it looks pretty ...

Re: Super Retro-Cade (Retrobit)

I finished the whole library. The emulation has been very satisfactory the whole way through. I suggest everybody buy this. Review forthcoming.

Spoiler alert, it's getting a Solid A.

Super Retro-Cade (Retrobit)

I've been playing around with this thing for a couple of hours, and I'm pleased to say that Retrobit learned their lesson. The Retrobit Generations was hot GARBAGE that none of you should ever waste your money on. EVER. This time however, the emulation is actually very very nice. While the video qua...

Re: PS2-Activision Anthology

Not only does it exist, but it also appeared on the Game Boy Advance as Activision Anthology About the only way one could go wrong with an Activision collection was with that old PS1 release. As the owner of both, I can tell you, at least the PS1 collection has the correct speed. Muffled sound affe...

Re: Batman Vengeance (GameCube) – Wax and Wayne

Very well written review. I remember really enjoying this game back in the day. Maybe it doesn't hold up as well as I'd thought it would.
