2015/3/13: Sega Master System: Penguin Land, Golvellius: Valley of Doom, Aerial Assault

I was surprised by the review of Golvellius, I never played it but I had only read good things about it. In fact, it was chosen as the 16th best game on the system in a poll conducted by SMS fans. I guess it can join Alex Kidd in Miracle World and form a "SMS class...

2014/9/13: Playstation 4: Wolfenstein: The New Order

This is actually the first review of the game that I've read which isn't full of praise for it (granted though, I didn't read many). I was expecting something of a B. As a fan of the series I'll probably play it sometime anyway... when I get a better graphics card for my PC, or a modern console.

2014/9/4: Atari 2600: Asteroids, Asterix (Europe), Taz

Taz is my favorite of the Looney Tunes, so naturally his game was one of my favorites for the Atari back in the day, but I agree with the revised grade nonetheless. Incidentally, Asterix is one of my favorite comics, so I probably would have liked the European version as well if I had been exposed t...

Asterix is Europe's anti-hero supreme

Don't worry, critic, I'm a huge Asterix fan and I found the review quite funny; I smelled a little tongue-in-cheek right away. Now, I wanted to say that Asterix is definitely not an anti-hero; he's pretty much a traditional "flawless" hero, just a little more feisty than usual.

2012/9/26: Genesis: Jurassic Park, Jurassic Park: Rampage Edition, Jurassic Park: The Lost World

Oh, wow. Based on your review of the original SNES JP, I was expecting you to also give the fairly similar Lost World a low score, but all the way down to an F again? Man, what a disappointment. To me, it's not only the best of the Genesis JP games, but one of the best Genesis games overall. I love ...

2012/8/2: Super Nintendo: Castlevania Dracula X, Jurassic Park, Jurassic Park Part 2: The Chaos Continues
You should check out Jurassic Park: Rampage Edition on the Genesis, that's easily the best Jurassic Park game out there.
That one's good, but I actually prefer the third Genesis game - The Lost World. Unfortunately it came out late in the console's life cycle, so it didn...

Awesome new kart racer announced!!

Well, at least this one is backed up by a solid first installment, the original Sonic & Sega All-Stars Racing was great IMO and received pretty good scores overall, including the critic's.

Return to the Castle of Illusion with Epic Mickey for the 3DS!

Castle of Illusion Starring Mickey Mouse. For most Sega Genesis and Master System owners this is pretty much a classic, and it seems that Warren Spector agrees, because Epic Mickey: Power of Illusion will take players back to the titular castle to once again battle the evil witch Mizrabel, who is no...

2012/4/1: Sega Master System: Alex Kidd in Miracle World, Marksman Shooting/Trap Shooting, Paperboy

I completely agree about Paperboy, but disagree about Alex Kidd (I know you saw that one coming). That said, based on your comment about the game's controls being the opposite of Mario, it seems that you're reviewing the cartridge version. I happen to have the one that came built-in the Master Syste...
