What systems and how about a game trading blog on VGC?

Like Oltobaz, I have a few duplicate games I'd be happy to trade:

TOCA Touring Car Championship (PlayStation 1, PAL);

Tomba! (PlayStation 1, NTSC-U/C);

Sonic Heroes (PlayStation 2, PAL).

T...

Any good FPS for Gamecube?

Since Zeta and Logan have beaten me to the punch re TimeSplitters and Metroid Prime, another good FPS available for GameCube is James Bond 007: NightFire (whose developer, Eurocom, would later go on to develop the GoldenEye remake for the Wii).

Afterburner Climax being delisted

Sad news, and as others above have already pointed out, yet another of the perils of digital-only games. Never got around to picking this up before; guess now I have the perfect excuse.
For those that haven't already, I'd recommend grabbing Daytona USA HD if you want it. Th...

Your Least Favorite Genre?

2014/11/16: GameCube: Pool Paradise, Geist, Mega Man X Collection
Also, when you put the icon for 'may contain sharks' is this snarky 'pool sharks?' instead of the tooth and fin kind?
Oddly enough, no; the tournament matches in this game are played for money, and as you have no money to start off with, the first thing you d...

Crown Jewel of your collection?

My most treasured game in my collection would undoubtedly be Castlevania: Symphony of the Night for the PS1. This title regularly goes for about $100 on eBay, so when I saw it on sale at a second-hand shop a few years ago for only $19.95, I couldn't hand my money o...

Big Mario Kart 8 DLC expansions on the way

I can't help but feel that this DLC is perhaps Nintendo testing the waters for a potential "Super Smash Kart"...

Crown Jewel of your collection?

My most cherished console would probably be an original Game Boy with an LED backlight mod, which I bought off eBay for about AUD$40–50 a few months back. I'd wanted an original Game Boy for a fair while (for curiosity's sake, if nothing else) but had never been able to justify the purchase until I ...

References to previous games in a series/related games

In the original Uncharted game (Drake's Fortune), the wetsuits worn by Nathan and Elena at the start of the game carry the fictional brand name "Ottsel" on their fronts, a reference to Daxter from Naughty Dog's previous game series, Jak & Daxter.

Game Freak placed refere...

Unpopular Opinion: I don't like the Game Cube controller

You can buy adapters (such as this one) that allow you to use PS1 or PS2 controllers with a GameCube (as well as early model Wiis that have the GameCube controll...
