Re: WWF Wrestlemania: Steel Cage Challenge (NES)

Such a cool title for a game, such a lousy, lazily executed effort. Disappointed dosen't even begin to describe how I felt when I played this one for the first time....

Re: C64 mini

Hmmm. Sounds interesting.I missed out on the C64 the first time around, so it'd be nice to get a hold of one of these just to see for myself how good some of the games were for it.

Re: Halloween Games?

Splatterhouse Wanpaki Grafitti, for the Famicom. It's basically a cute version of the Splatterhouse games on the Turbo Grafx-16 and Sega Genesis, but it's a real hoot to play. Very hard game, though, as you only get one life and a handful of continues to get through it.

It's more than likely I'll never see one of these babies much less own one. But it's definitely nice to read about an old and somewhat obscure game console from the prehistoric days of video gaming. Nice job!!!

Re: Why do people like RPGs?

This is a very good question. I think one reason why is that there's a real sense of accomplishment in building up your character or party, depending on what type of RPG you happen to be playing at any given moment, from nothing into something more powerful. And as in most RPG's, this takes a lot of...

Re: Bugs Bunny Double Trouble (Genesis)

I know you didn't ask me, but I think Bugs Bunny: Double Trouble is much worse than Taz Mania. I'm gonna say Taz mania is worse. Just because of that God awful mine cart level. I can't even begin to tell you how many times I came close to tossing that game through a plate glass window because of th...

Re: Atari Flashback?

Is there a decent Galaga homebrew for the 2600 anywhere, I wonder?[/quote] I was wondering the same thing. And to tell you the truth, I often wonder why there wasn't a version of Galaga ported to the 2600 back in the day. Sure, it's more than lilely that it'd pale in comparison to the arcade version...
