Re: Obscure Systems

Here's one that I just happened to find whilst browsing through this site during supper time. (had chili for those interested in the details)

Certainly a peculiar looking piece of hardware isn't it?

Re: The Worst Fighting Game Ever Is Back..?

Could be worse, I suppose. There could be somebody out there working on remakes for Rise of the Robots or Karate Champ. Which to me, are two of the worst one on one fighting games ever...

Re: Should box sets be reviewed together or separately?

I say a separate review for each game in a box set. People who write reviews about music tend to do this when they review box set/anthologies for bands. Re: Strange Hacks of Well Known Games

Another strange hack of Castlevania. This one is called "Skel's Revenge" and it has you play the role of Skel. It's about as difficult as the original, but I get a kick out of it all the same. Especially when he climbs up stairs.

Re: NHL '94 (SNES)

Have to respectfully disagree with you on that one. While NHL '94 is a fine game, to me, the definitive hockey game of the 16 bit era will always be NHL '96 for the Sega Genesis, as it improved and perfected upon everything that was good about the previous versions of the NHL series put out by EA Sp...

To me, it looks an awful lot like the standard controller for an X Box 360. Albeit with the old Atari black and orange color scheme.

Re: Strange Hacks of Well Known Games

Here's a hack of Castlevania that I've been playing. It's called "Castlevania: Bloody Adventures". Aside from your character having a blood red hue, the main difference between this one and the original is that this hack is a heck of a lot easier. You get more power ups, more health refill...
