Re: Playing PS1 games on the PS2?

Thanks for the list of games with issues, thankfully I own none of those except for Final Fantasy Anthology, but I can't say that I've seen any sort of glitches or anything on it. (Of course, it says FF5 is fine on it, which is what I mainly play... I prefer SNES FF6 because of load times. Anthology...

Re: Games That Need Sequels Or Revivals?

Added note: Just spent some time looking up the minimum requirements for those 4 games... and my 1 GB RAM no video card POS computer can't run one of them. :/ I clearly need to start saving my pennies.

Re: Games That Need Sequels Or Revivals?

I wouldn't mind seeing a modernized Baldur's Gate 1+2. Maybe with a graphic style/interface similar to Dragon Age Origins. I would also love a traditional style Action Points Turn Based Fallout game like Fallout 1+2, or just a remake of Fallout 1+2. Planescape Torment could use a remake/sequel as w...

Re: Pokemon Snap (Nintendo 64)

Not really a pokemon fan, but I also own this and find it enjoyable still even today. It's honestly a really mellow game that is nice to have a beer while playing. I have fond memories of playing this in my late teens/early 20's with my friends. The VGC should definitely give it a shot, even if he d...

Re: Pick only one console per generation.

For those of you that picked the Neo Geo over an SNES or Genesis, what types of games do you favor?

My guess would be that you would play close to 0 RPGs if that was your top pick, I'm curious if that is correct.

Re: Christmas Loot

Man... some of you guys get a LOT of stuff, wow.

I got one present and one present only, a flow hive for keeping bees. I'm really, really excited to give that a shot this year. Keeping bees is something I've wanted to do for many, many years now.

Re: Final Fantasy Origins (FF1, PS1)

To answer both of your questions, if you only have time to play 1, I would probably go with the PS1 version just for the convenience factor. The Memo file option which lets you save in dungeons is really useful, and there are other things like if you tell someone to attack a group of monsters and th...

Final Fantasy Origins (FF1, PS1)

As of last night, I have completed the first game of Final Fantasy Origins for the Playstation. So how was the experience? Overall, I'd say very positive. For those that are unaware, Final Fantasy Origins is a remake of Final Fantasy 1 and 2 for the original Playstation. It was 1 of a 3 part series ...

Re: Pick only one console per generation.

Alright, this is probably not as well thought out as some of the others, as my experience with 1st and 2nd generation systems is limited as is my experience with the most recent generation of consoles. I will also be including backwards compatibility as I do not feel that is cheating. If a company h...
