Re: 2018/7/16: Intellivision: Sub Hunt, Commando

I had no clue that Commando existed for the Intellivision! I'm going to have to put that on my wishlist for sure. I have a copy of Commando for the 2600 and also the 7800 port. Fun game

Re: Atari 7800 Games....Food Fight, Joust and Commando

I love the 7800! Glad you got the Edladdin adapter as it is a solid investment for any 7800 owner! I have mine hooked up to a sega genesis arcade power stick and switch it out with a standard genesis gamepad on occasion. I don't share your opinion on Food Fight as it's one of my favorites. It might ...

Re: Anyone still favor "wired" controllers?

I prefer wired. Just like the remote for the television, I will set a wireless controller down and then I can't find it without doing a search later when i go to use it again. With wired I just keep the controllers plugged into the system and wrap them up when i'm done playing.

Re: Thunder Storms!

The only suggestion that comes to mind is Haunted House on the Atari 2600. I'd rock that during a thunderstorm

Re: Times the VGC steered you right... or wrong

I've been using the VGC reviews of Atari 8-bit (XEGS) to pick up games with great results. Spot on reviews here! I believe there have only been a few game reviews on the site that I haven't completely agreed with. The one that comes to mind is the review of Double Dragon on the Sega Master System. M...

Re: 1977 Game System Reviews

Have you tried it yet? As mentioned in my post above, would be interested in any thoughts on it. Yes! I've spent some time with it and it's certainly an interesting machine. I only own two out of the four carts (carts two and three) so unfortunately I can't speak on the driving game until i pick up...

Re: The trash that is on Amazon Prime

Total hokum. If you like bad dubbing and people in rubber suits pretending to be monsters then I recommend it. It was a lot better than I thought it was going to be. Finally got to see this film! It was the english dub, titled as "YOG - Monster From Space". Very fun! I still haven't ventu...

Re: 1977 Game System Reviews

thanks for posting these links! I recently picked up a Coleco Telstar Arcade and I had no knowledge or experience of the system prior to the purchase. Going to be reading these articles for sure.
