Re: Best games of this generation

Zelda the breath of the wild was an A+ game until...it wasn't! The ending was terrible (way to easy) and did not justify the hours I spent going through the empty countryside (and villages), clearing temples (loved that part of the game) and completing meaningless and dull side missions. Not to ment...

Re: is it worth it to buy the nintendo switch now ?

I like the Nintendo Switch but after Zelda and Mario I am struggling to find anything to play on it. If you like couch co-op Mario Kart Deluxe is fun but it is a bore when it comes to single player. Outside of those titles it will depend on how much you have played older "indie" titles or ...

Re: 2018/5/5: Nintendo Switch: Tiny Barbarian DX

I had my eye on this one but after this review I will pass. I enjoy the Switch but I am afraid its best games have already been made! I am struggling to find anything to play on it.

Re: Dungeons and Dragons?

I played D&D back in the 1980's in middle school and I loved it. I spent many Friday and Saturday nights for hours on end eating junk food and playing D&D. I loved it. I haven't played in nearly a quarter century but I have fond memories of it. It's fun and you can make it as hard or easy to...

God of War PS4

I am huge fan of the God of War series. God of War 2 is one of my favorite games of all time. So as a big fan (did I mention that?) how does God of War on the PS4 fare? Pretty dang good if you ask me! The combat is different, more strategic and prodding then in the past games. However it is just as ...

Re: 2018/4/7: Nintendo Switch: Axiom Verge

As a show of appreciation for Tom Happ in creating one of my all-time favorite games, I went and bought the physical "Multiverse Edition" of Axiom Verge, which also got me the making-of documentary, the soundtrack (which went in my car CD player the moment I left the store I bought it fro...

Re: VGC Pro Nintendo?

In the Axiom Verge thread someone had mentioned I am pro-Nintendo. If that's true, it's been a pretty late development. In the 80s, I started with an Atari 2600, moved on to the Atari XE computers, and finally the Atari ST. In the 90s, my system of choice was the Genesis, but I transitioned to the ...

Re: 2018/4/7: Nintendo Switch: Axiom Verge

Nice. I have the Multiverse version on PS4 and really looking forward to playing it now. I beat Super Metroid a few years ago, but never loved it. But one of my favorite games is Castlevania: Symphony of the Night. Do you think this game would appeal to Castlevania fans too, or is it truly just a M...
