Kinect always on? What is the point?

[QUOTE=Wallyworld]In my game room all the consoles (18 atm) are hooked up and ready to go. I have them all plugged into a series of Rack Mount power supplies and system selectors. each console is plugged into the Rack Mount PS and each console has its own switch (to power on and off). So whenever I'...

PS3 bricks - another reason to stay off-line

Why do you guys argue with an obvious Microsoft fanboy? "Don't feed the troll" certainly applies here. It's too bad this forum doesn't have an "ignore user" option.

2013/6/15: Wii: Cruis'n, Kirby's Dream Collection Special Edition, Rhythm Heaven Fever

In the Cruis'n review, you said that double-tapping the gas activates nitrous. Actually the 'A' button does that. Double-tapping the gas just seems to make you wheelie in order to jump over other cars. It doesn't use any nitrous. Otherwise, great review!

Need For Speed Most Wanted PC

This game on 360 is one of my favorite racers of all time. The trick to escaping the police is to use the bus station glitch. That makes some of the higher bounty levels a lot more manageable. Just Google "bus station glitch" for some helpful videos.

Cruisin' (Wii)

I had to give this a try, and turns out it's not too bad. Definitely worth $10 or less if you see it in the bargain bin, and I agree it would be better with more traditional controls.

Oh, and I also figured out a minor trick...if you tap the gas button twice, the car will do a wheelie. You ca...

PS3 officially becomes the second best selling console of the 7th generation

A lot of those Xbox system sales can also be attributed to their atrocious reliability before the redesign. My first 360 red-ringed, and every one of my friends who owns a 360 is on their second console at least. One friend of mine is on his 3rd or 4th, I can't remember. That is NOT the way to gener...

Retron 5 Console

I'm more excited for the Retron 5 than I have been for any system in years. If they can nail down the compatibility, I'm buying one of these at launch. Currently I use a modded original Xbox to emulate older systems and it works great, but you have to use Xbox controllers. I would love to have the s...
