Your Least Favorite Genre?

first person shooter. can't stand any of them since wolfenstein. a little ironic as I love first person rpg's. I guess that's the thing though - I like the immersion and exploration that first person allows, not running around like you have a jetpack strapped on you shooting everything

If you could send 5 games back in time to yourself, when you were a kid...

1. Atari 2600: G.I. Joe Cobra Strike - never played this one as a kid but it's one of my favorites now. plus up to 3 players can play at once so it would've been perfect

2. NES: Solomon's Key - although I'd probably be terrible at it

3. Sega Genesis: D&D Warriors of the Ete...

2014/12/4: Turbografx-16: Final Zone II, Last Alert, Valis IV

Couldn't disagree with the critic more...Last Alert is an excellent game, and the variety of mission objectives is a good spin on the genre. Final Zone II is a lot of fun too.

Castlevania: Portrait of Ruin (DS)

I finally started on the portable metroidvanias, starting with Circle of the Moon for the GBA. Honestly I'm having a hard time getting through it. The gameplay feels off and the level design is pretty bad and visually uninteresting.

I never realised how great the Final Fantasy series is !

I prefer the Game Boy Advance FF remakes because they're all still sprite-based instead of the bad polygon + 3D stuff that looks really bad.

What FMV 'Interactive Movies' would you have in your Sega Mega CD Collection ?

No one has mentioned my favorite Sega CD fmv game yet - Ground Zero: Texas

Written and directed by the duo who brought you Halloween 4: The Return of Michael Myers!

It's cheesy fun and not too hard to beat

RGB Output in consoles from the 80s and 90s
Would RGB still be better than running your SNES & Genesis carts on the new Retron 5 which has HDMI output and a ton of video filter options?
Yes, because a snes/genesis is going to look horrible on a flatscreen regardless.
