Ubisoft and Wii U end of the line?
There is a fairly big distinction between a few glitches and bugs that hamper your ability to actually play the game at all. I don't recall Nintendo having released any games that are guilty of this.

As for the original post - how have Wii U owners treated Ubisoft shabbily? That's nonsens...

Although I wouldn't completely rule out spending a significant amount on a cartridge, the existence of flash carts such make it less justifiable. I would like to own complete in box Japanese copies of Bare Knuckle 3 and Contra: The Hard Corps for instance, but I would rather play them on my Everd...

RGB Output in consoles from the 80s and 90s
Weekend_Warrior: I agree with what ptdebate has said. The Retron5 is still emulation, so no matter how good it may or may not be, it will not exactly match the video or audio output of these systems. I haven't seen the Retron5 in action, but I have seen videos on Youtube that show clear differences....

My set up is pretty similar to Wallyworld. Everything that is 6th generation or before is hooked up to a CRT with RGB scart if available, composite if not. I can't imagine using RF now.
