Re: Vita Games?

Can anyone tell me how remote play works? I know you need to have your Vita wirelessly connected with your PS4, but if I do that would I, say, be able to bring my Vita to work and play PS4 games at the office on my break? Believe it or not, you can remote play from anywhere to anywhere. The quality...

Re: Vita Games?

Is Steins Gate one of those visual novels? That is correct! It features more interactive elements than many other visual novels, but at its core Steins;gate is a story-focused experience with branching paths but little moment-to-moment interactivity on the part of the player. That being said, Stein...

Re: Physical music overtakes downloads

I realize music streaming is growing very fast, but isn't this more comparable to listening to a radio station as opposed to actually buying an album or single? I agree with that statement. The availability of streaming does not dissuade me from buying physical albums I like. Radio is free, of cour...

Re: Secret of Mana (SNES)

Secret of Mana is such a beautiful and charming game. The remake on PS4 unfortunately is a bit dull. Glad you're enjoying the original. If you still wanna try the remake for comparison's sake, I'd recommend "renting" it from Gamestop to see how you like it first.

Re: When do you use a CRT?

The line really has to do with analog vs. digital. The consoles that put out an analog signal (i.e., pre-HDMI) are best played on a CRT. When you hook them up to a modern TV, the TV has to convert the signal from analog to digital. Certain TVs do it better than others, but no matter what, this proce...

Re: Recommend some Podcasts

If you like retro gaming (such as myself), you can't do much better than Retronauts. I've been listening to them for over 10 years and it's my go-to podcast. Aside from that, Dan Carlin's Hardcore History is one of my favorites for in-depth historical analysis of a variety of topics.

Re: Physical music overtakes downloads

I don't buy music digitally. I do pay Apple $15 a month for unlimited music streaming (with family sharing) for the simple convenience of listening on the go. At home, I have a beautiful Audio Technica vinyl player that my girlfriend got me for my birthday last year. In my personal (amateur) percept...

Re: Vita Games?

Well DaHeckIzDat, You inspired me with your thread so I decided to buy a Vita myself. I already had the PS TV but have been really needing something to help me pass the time on long plane rides. Brand-new Vitas are also pretty affordable right now on Amazon. I snagged one of the white Japanese model...

Re: Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night survey!

Actually, the PS Vita is stronger than ever, far surpassing sales goals year after year. Despite releasing before the now completely dead Wii U, the Vita still has many new releases on the horizon and is actively supported by Japanese and indie devs. The high attach rate of the console is the key be...
