R-Type (Sega Master System)

I must be having deja vu! Either that, or this game is eerily similar to Life Force. Or Life Force is eerily similar to this. Let's see, which came first?...Looks like Life Force did, it was released under the name "Salamander" in Japan, while R-Type was released in 1988. Whatever. Both ar...

Re: Framemeister Review

One other thing that helps is if you can use a signal splitter and have a CRT that you can use to compare the picture side by side. Both of which I happen to have: tmp_22276-rsz_1rsz_tmp_22276-20180415_13342211078024859832041462656938989774293641.jpg That way you can really get the settings down to ...

Re: Baseball in Decline?

My uncle said that baseball is too commercialized these days. It has lost some charm. I should have realized that at the Cubs Convention when I saw empty champagne bottles that they supposedly had used during some celebration in the clubhouse that they were selling for fifty dollars apiece. Certainl...

Glad to see 1-2 Switch missing from that list. The fact that they charged 60 bucks for that was criminal!

Re: Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword (Wii)

Once again I popped this sucker in. I think I took for granted what a gem Skyward Sword is, since it's not typically regarded as one of the better Zelda games. Definitely can't say that it's a slouch.

Re: MLB: The show 18

Yeah, I can think of a few charming glitches, such as wall jumping in the original Metroid. Often times, though, you have to really hunt to find said glitch. But usually the glitch isn't gamebreaking, or all that serious. And yeah, often times the bad translation from Japanese is hilarious. But in T...

Re: Does this suck?

But what are you talking about visitors? The first visitors from outside Yar were the Impalers. Well, that's how the journey could have been 20 miles, if they were actually coming from outside of Yar. Otherwise, 7 squared plus 7 squared equals 98. The square root of 98 is 9.89, so even diagonally, ...

Re: Does this suck?

Only had time to read a few paragraphs, but if Yar was exactly 7 miles in each direction, how is the train ride 20 miles? That would be an awful lot of winding tracks. And if they're not from Yar, and visitors came in regularly, then how would the people still think that nothing was beyond those wal...
