Re: Super Mario 64 (Nintendo 64)

Quick question: 64 vs Sunshine? Sunshine came out on the next console, with more polish, but would you say it’s a better game or has aged “better”? 64 (and Sunshine) is EXTREMELY popular in the Speedrunning community. Galaxy not so much, but oddessy is starting to take over. https://youtu.be/5qM278...

Another reason why I love my flashcart. And believe me, it's a lot more fun using Tom Brady instead of Steve Grown.

Not so much the case with the Bears.

Re: Photos of old arcade games

We should get a few of us to grow an early 80s haircut, dress like it was back then, and take a hoax photo next to a Polybius machine. With a Polaroid, of course.

Framemeister

Ok, so old tvs area pain. They don't work very well, they're big, they're heavy. I would like to simply have everything go to my one 4K tv in the mancave. But we all know that the N64 and Genesis look like crap on newer TVs I'm tempted to spring for the Framemeister, because I've heard good things a...

Re: Video Editing

Cyberlink Powerdirector 10. Makes these videos fairly simple, and I can zoom in to the exact frame that i want to cut to. I can even add music.

Re: Super Mario 64 (Nintendo 64)

I love how all the movement controls, the jumps and everything, are the exact same controls on Odyssey as Mario 64. But yeah, this game definitely lacks polish, as it was one of Nintendo's early attempts at 3D. Not that I don't love it though. I'll always have fond memories of Mario 64.

Re: Best and worst sports consoles

I'll have to check some of these Atari 2600 games out, they sound interesting. The Xbox was the most powerful system of its generation, compared to the PS2 and Gamecube. However, the awkward placement of what should be the shoulder buttons makes it weird playing sports games. Seems like it's no big ...

World Series Baseball (Genesis)

I have got to get me a Framemeister. Hard to tell which looks worse on a modern TV, the N64 or the Genesis. Anyway, I really like this game. It's cool how they have all of the 1993 ballparks, and this brings back the feeling I had watching the Cubs in 1993. Neat little animations include flipping th...

Re: Best and worst sports consoles

All good responses. Can't deny that the Genesis is one fantastic system for sports.
