Re: 2018/1/14: Genesis: Aero the Acro-Bat, Aero the Acro-Bat 2

If I remember right, There is also an GBA port of Aero The Acro-Bat, I assume the critic will tackle that later? :!: I would bet that it would be a port of the SNES version given how many SNES games were ported to the GBA. It’s funny to me that someone felt the need to port this game when so many m...

Re: Nintendo Labo

I felt better about the $70 price tag when I was assuming Amazon would be offering the 20% Prime member discount on pre-ordering it. For some reason they aren’t so I’m feeling a bit differently about the price. Lol. Hmm, good point. I need to buy another Best Buy Gamer's Membership. It save you 20%...

Re: Nintendo Labo

And now I’ve just read that apparently Nintendo won’t be providing the design patterns for free after all. Which if true, is both baffling and ridiculous. These are made of cardboard. It makes so much sense to just let people make them out of their own materials and make the money on the software. M...

I agreed more with your old review of Aero the Acrobat. I just don’t find that game fun at all.

I hope Nintendo hasn't just found a way to sell you a cardboard RC car for more than an actual RC car.

Re: Nintendo Labo

I know it's for kids, but I can't get over it costing $80. They're packaging it with a minigame compilation, and those should never be sold for more than $20, which means you're still paying three times as much for the freaking cardboard than the game. Maybe the games will be shallow but why are yo...

Haha. I can’t imagine being able to build that robot while celebrating 4/20.

I just imagine I would finish it and end up with a barn instead:

Re: Nintendo Labo

It looked awesome and then I thought, wait $70 for cardboard? The profit margins on these things must be through the roof. I don’t disagree on the profit margins for the $10 accessory pack but it’s not $70 or $80 for cardboard. It’s $60 for a game plus $10 or $20 for the cardboard. That doesn’t see...

Nintendo Labo

Nintendo announced an interesting new thing today: http://m.ign.com/articles/2018/01/17/nintendo-announces-labo-build-it-yourself-kit-experiences-with-nintendo-switch Basically they’re cardboard kits that you build and then use with the Switch by sticking your joycon in them (watch the video if that...
