Re: Recommend some anime!

I'm so out of touch of everything... But as no one has said it yet, Robotech. It's great. For an American show that replicates WWII in space with permadeaths happening, EXO Squad, the series is awesome. The first season was officially released on DVD. It only had 2 seasons. The second season I was a...

Re: Nintendo Labo

I felt better about the $70 price tag when I was assuming Amazon would be offering the 20% Prime member discount on pre-ordering it. For some reason they aren’t so I’m feeling a bit differently about the price. Lol. Hmm, good point. I need to buy another Best Buy Gamer's Membership. It save you 20%...

Re: Nintendo Labo

Thanks for some reason, I'm thinking it's more akin to (Xbox 360) Kodu $5 or (Xbox One) Project Spark $20 by MS. It seems hard to price the actual software at $60 based on a few other options in this space.

But, it's still fun to build things. Heck, it's still cheaper than a nice sized Lego set.

Re: Nintendo Labo

It looked awesome and then I thought, wait $70 for cardboard?

The profit margins on these things must be through the roof.

Re: The Animation Lovers Thread

Thanks for all of the suggestions, I really appreciate it. I'm pretty sure I'm going to wear out my Xbox One watching Frozen, so anything else that I can try will be great. It's a terrific movie but after the millionth time anything else sounds wonderful.

Re: The Animation Lovers Thread

Can anyone recommend an animated movie with lots of singing? My daughter loves Frozen. I think she partly enjoys it because of all the singing...could be wrong though. She's not quite 2 so maybe she likes the color white. :) I've tried to get her into the stuff I loved as a kid, The New Scooby Doo M...

Re: I got a Switch . . & I like it!

If you haven't tried Mario Kart 8 yet I'd highly recommend it. I played the heck out of it on the Wii U and can definitely recommend it. The last game in the Mario Kart series I played was Mario Kart 64 so I'm not a huge fan by any means. It's still a good, fun game. Personally, I love playing Mario...

Re: This months's free PS+ games

I always use their online web store to add them all to my cart at one time. It takes 2 minutes and then I have them. It's way quicker than booting up each device and going to the stores directly. You can also set the games to download to your devices on their next check in. https://store.playstation...

Re: Star wars the last jedi spoilers ahead.

Is it possible that the reason fans that are more angry about certain things are that they may have more recently seen The Force Awakens? I haven't watched it in a while. So the film's large questions of who Rey's parents were and where did Snoke come from aren't as prevalent in my mind. Now, if I h...

Re: Doing it wrong?

Kind of feel that way playing "Breath of the Wild". I love the game but don't feel like the side quests add all that much to the game. I am overcome with the "what the heck am I supposed to do next" feeling constantly. I must be doing something wrong! I certainly felt the same w...
