Re: A biased articles on why people should get a PS4 and Pro over the Nintendo Switch!

I don’t understand this criticism of PS4 installs and patches. It’s streets ahead of other systems you can actually play the games whilst they are installing so there no ‘long’ installs at all. Plus if you leave the PS4 in rest mode it will download and install any patches at night or whilst your at...

Re: Horizon: Zero Dawn > Zelda: Breath of the Wild

I can’t compare as I’ve not played Zelda yet but I would say HZD gets really compelling. The story and setting is wonderfully unique and unravelling how the machines came to be is fascinating. It took me a few hours to get into but once I did, I sunk over 90 hours into it. Not sure about the critici...

Re: Computer Games 1998-2000

I had a powerful PC at this time which cost a lot of money about 6 months in, I realised I had made a bad decision. Compatibility issues, constantly faffing with setting having to sit at a desk with a monitor. I went back into console gaming with the PS3 and glad I did. There’s a lot to be said for ...

Yes although they seem to be the same games as the ones produced by General Instruments. Perhaps they used the same logic ?

Re: PC-50x Consoles

Finally got round to some time on Tank Battle although I’ve had it a while now this game has took me about 3 years to source. 3E12C523-AF74-4E11-8C9E-C103F1E339F5.jpeg Notice how the bespoke Tank controllers go into the back of the cartridge rather than use the systems joysticks (like the J-cart on ...

Re: I love Switch, but....

Switch seems to be hitting the usual Nintendo drought. I can only think of one exclusive title getting the system for (Mario Odyssey) most other games are available elsewhere.
If it wasn’t for the hybrid function I think the Switch would be Wii U Mark 2.

Re: 2018/7/8: Sega 32X: Pitfall: The Mayan Adventure

The frame rate is odd on this one, it’s not choppy per ‘se it’s the fact the layers are running at different frame rates one at 60 and one at 30. I believe the Mega Drive/Genesis is controlling one layer and the 32x another which in itself is not unusual but having them at different frame rates make...

Re: All the way through?

Just completed Hell Yeah! Wrath of the dead rabbit on PS3. Great humour, slick presentation and overall a lot of fun, but man those controls. You do eventually adapt but they are never great.
Worth checking out.

Re: Jurassic World

It was OK, it’s clear they are running out of ideas as they just invent a new dinosaur hybrid every film now.
Entertaining enough but not something I would watch again. Jurassic World is getting very formulaic.

Re: This months's free PS+ games

Always wanted to try Heavy Rain and Beyond Two Souls so glad they’ve both been on.
Just need to get around to playing them (and Bloodborne).
