Re: 2018/2/21: Genesis: Battle Squadron, Zany Golf

I wished Zany Golf had been content to be a crazy golf sim. I actually enjoy the first couple of holes.
Then it just gets silly (or zany) and the game falls apart.

Re: Early to Mid 1995

I keep thinking about this time. I haven't really kept any of my old magazines but when I look at old Gamepro magazines on the internet it gets me so excited. In fact, I always remembered SWAT Pro which also had cool stuff. I loved all the uncertainty. It was so exciting to talk about the Ultra 64 ...

Spider-Man on 32x you really need to look at that again it’s barely worth above an F rather than an A. Thankfully I didn’t remortgage the house to buy and tried it first via my EverDrive.

Re: Systems You Have Sold Off

So many of these posts resonate with me. I’m continually flip flopping around my collection depending on the day of the month and my mood. It is either: 1). Have 1 console per generation. 2). I’m missing out on loads of good games why don’t I just keep the best games on all systems and sell the othe...

Re: Turrican (Turbografx-16)

This looks like another great shooter for the Turbografx, but having some problems with the first stage. There are several areas where rocks start raining from the sky for no particular reason. Since you can't shoot up, it seems like you're forced to take a lot of mandatory damage in these sections...

Great post RetroSTrife, really enjoyed reading it.
Is this thing emulated or simulated ?
I’m not interested enough to buy one but would pass some time on an emulator.

Re: Best Horse ever in video games? Best animal companion?

Big Boss’s (or Venom’s) horse in MGSV is a faithful fella and can we count the machine Strider horses from Horizon Zero Dawn ?

I really need to play Shadow of the Colossus I’ve got it on PS2 just never got round to playing it.
