Nintendo "Maker" Games?

We had Mario Maker on both the Wii U and the 3DS. Do you think we'll be seeing any more "Maker" games from them? I'd love to have a Zelda Maker where you can design your own storyline and quest from beginning to end, or a Castlevania maker that lets you build your own Symphony of the Night...

Re: PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds (Xbox One)

IF anyone's looking for a better version to play, Fortnite recently released a Battle Royale mode that's essentially the same thing, but a lot faster paced and with the same construction element as the main game. It a ton of fun, and it's free!

Re: Worst Types of Levels?

This is more personal preference instead of any actual flaws, but in 2D platformers I hate levels where the walls and floor can kill you, like the brier patch levels in Donkey Kong Country 2. It's like, I have enough trouble not falling into the bottomless pits. I don't need the walls and ceiling to...

Re: Top 5Favorite Christmas Specials/Movies?

(In no particular order) 1. The Polar Express-- but only the first part. Once they get to the North Pole and leave the train, it loses almost all of its charm to me. Especially with those creepy elves. 2. Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer. The one with Whoopi Goldberg as the evil ice witch. It's really...

Worst Types of Levels?

I think everybody has at least one kind of level that they hate. Not specific levels so much as the type of level it is. For me, it's poison swamps. I love the Dark Souls games, but why do they always feel the need to put in an area that kills you just by standing in it? Then you either have to wast...

Re: Best Christmas Game?

I posted this in the Critic's winter game's list, but I'll put it here too. I haven't played it, but I hear that We Wish You A Merry Christmas on the Wii is a fun collection of Christmas themed mini games that parents can sit down and play with their kids. http://media.ign.com/games/image/object/032...

Re: Dark Souls Relaxing?

I would recommend Dark Souls 1 to start. You can tank in heavy armor and a shield and make most of the combat much easier as a way to ease yourself into the system. Just remember to keep talking to every NPC until you exhaust all dialog, you need their information for guidance on where to go. Dark ...

Re: Dark Souls Relaxing?

Difficult question. I'm tempted to say Dark Souls 1 since it's, again, my favorite out of all of them. The downside to that is that when/if you go back to Demon's Souls, it's... well, it's not bad, really, but it feels like a rough draft for Dark Souls. Which is a shame, because it's actually a real...

Re: Dark Souls Relaxing?

I think they each have their strengths and weaknesses. The first is my favorite, but there are a couple places (namely Lost Izalith) that the developers admit were unfinished. They still work, but they're kinda clunky. They're mostly late in the game though so you'll get to see some amazing stuff be...

Re: Winter Games!

We Wish You a Merry Christmas on the Wii is a largely unknown, but supposedly charming, Christmas game. Maybe you should check it out.
