Re: Underrated And Overlooked Albums

I'll go with Warrant's "Dog Eat Dog". Released in 1992, it got overlooked (yet still went gold) because obviously everyone was infatuated with everything grunge at that point. In retrospect, it's a shame that hair metal had to go away so quickly. While I like grunge, there certainly aren't...

Re: What is your Holy Grail?

Mine would be to have complete with manual USA AES Metal Slug series. Throw in Japan AES Pulstar.

Re: 2017/10/15: Genesis: College Football USA '96, College Football USA '97

These are really interesting looking games. I thought would have been amazing if these games were beefed up and released on the Saturn or the 3do (EA had a lot of ports to the 3do), as I didn't think those consoles got a college football game. Conceivably the graphics could've been upgraded massivel...

Re: 2017/10/14: Genesis: Bill Walsh College Football, Bill Walsh College Football '95

I really enjoyed the Bill Walsh series personally. The first game was the first time I played a college football game. It definitely had the solid gameplay the Madden games had back in 1993-1994. Apparently there were two well received games following the Bill Walsh series with College Football USA ...

Re: Toys R Us files Chapter 11

That was really the heyday for Toys R Us, the late 80's. The NES was amazing to shop for at Toys R Us with the whole process of going to the booth in the back.

Re: Madden 18 (PS4)

I've always felt that 2k5 was better than any other 3d football video game. It is a great game. If I had a gun to my head though, I'd pick Front Page Sports Football Pro 95 for the computer.

Re: New Music Thread

Well I checked out the 2 newest Warrant albums and they're pretty good. Not Jani Lane good, but they do sort of maintain the Warrant sound.

Re: Madden 18 (PS4)

I have to admit the screen shots look amazing. I'm a bit conflicted on whether sports games should be realistic. On the one hand, I'm still enamored with ancient Front Page Sports Football pro series from the mid 90's. On the other hand I really enjoy these graphics and wouldn't mind a fun game.

Re: Happy 20th Birthday, GoldenEye

Happy birthday to Goldeneye indeed. As a die hard Bond fan, this game hit it right on the button. While everyone was saying how amazing the multiplayer, I was enjoying the single player experience, which is a masterpiece. I am a huge fan of Goldeneye the movie, ("I am inveeencible!) and perhaps...
