Re: Cave Creatures (TI99)

Excellent review - brought back a great deal of fond memories for me as well. Here is a great compilation video by my good friend Tom for those that may want some more info on the games / play: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7UxJM7AhZvw Also, check out the comment section - John Phillips, one of th...

Re: What is your Holy Grail?

Just some thoughts... • Shadow Tower - I believe I may have a loose copy of Shadow Tower in my collection. Let me check this weekend. • Pioneer LaserActive - I have heard this, but did not have any issues with either of the units I had. That said, they still service this unit in Japan (not sure if t...

Re: Kingdom Hearts. What is it? PS2

I have to respectfully disagree with Stalvern. If you like action RPG games, this is a must have. It combines excellent gameplay with light RPG elements supported by a storyline that is engrossing with beloved characters from everybody's youth. Definitely recommended if you are a fan of the genre. I...

Re: Introducing the Nintendo Switch

I wrote an article in 2009 that details this exact idea. I coined my new prototype system the "SX2" (System x Two). From the original article its origin : "Develop one system that provides the advanced offerings of the console and includes a portable, compatible gaming device to conti...

Re: New AVS Console plays NES carts

This done look to be a very interesting piece of hardware. I like all of the features and the price tag is not half-bad for what you are getting. Also, I love the replica-look they went for in the case design. Though the author states the familiar box-design of the original NES in 1985, this is actu...

Hey Dave (or anyone that knows)).

Maybe it is completely obvious and I am missing it, but is there a search function for the forum? Thanks.

Suggested Webite Tweaks

Hey Dave. Love the enhancements and always appreciate your effort to improve VGC for the community. Just wanted to provide a few thoughts to chew on regarding the site: o Menu font size in Forums is different than in main website - CSS conflict? o GameWise no longer lists you as a link (might want t...

Re: Power-Up Feature Online

I am sorry, I refuse to pay for not seeing ads , no matter how great the content on your site is. I'll keep using my Chrome Adblock Plus plug-in... As others have opined, it is more about supporting VGC rather than anything else. I use an ad-blocker as well, so there was no need for me to 'super-ch...
