Re: Anybody know if the servers for MW3 on the PS3 are still active?

I can't vouch for PS3, but it still works for all 3 Wii versions, including MW3. I played Modern Warfare 1 online on Wii last night. A few months ago I was playing Black Ops 3 online on PS3. Given that the PS3 versions are more popular than the Wii ones, it would shock me if those weren't also all s...

Re: E3.. The Hype Begins.

I can't get hyped for E3 anymore. I'd love to, but it seems like every year the games media grabs some political idea or some idiotic "is the future here" technological focus and beats everyone over the head with it the whole time until you want to vomit. Without any good coverage and then...

Re: Rodea: The Sky Solider (Wii U)

As others are saying, the Wii U version has the much poorer controls. The Wii version has somewhat frustrating controls sometimes because of the camera, but the Wii U version, despite have dual analog sticks, is just an utter mess.

Re: No quality control

I hear from friends up in NYC about the monopoly Comcast has up there. Not to veer too close to politics, but I strongly feel that competition and availability of services should be mandated by the government, just like it is for electricity. Capitalism is great, up until the point at which it is a...

Re: My Youtube channel

From what I understand, the only way to get really good at something creative is to do it a lot before you're good at it. Good luck on the channel!

Re: My declining interest in modern video games.

I'm on team cart. Discs are quickly falling out of favour in every industry they were in because they are absolute garbage. Streaming movies and shows, SD cards, downloads for music, etc. Every one does not abandon good technology, only junk. The fight is already over. Discs lost. They suck. Everyon...

FailSafe (Atari 7800)

I've been playing this game for about a month now, and finally managed to finish it yesterday (it loops, but there is definitely an "ending" after you stop the missiles). It's a fantastic (and different) 7800 title, that takes some getting used to, but is a lot of fun when you get it. It's...

Re: Toys R Us files Chapter 11

Then again, people seem to have these same feelings when other big stores go out of business. Like when Walmart was killing all the department stores off in the late 90s, early 2000s. Those stores weren't very good either, but people still think they miss places like Ames, Caldor, etc. I imagine yo...

Re: Mini Classic Arcade Machines

Friends and family got me Asteroids, Centipede, and Frogger for Christmas. I have them right here next to the computer (I use them to play while waiting for the computer to start up). They're pretty neat interpretations with far better sound than graphics in most cases. Asteroids is more like Astero...

Re: Kitchen sink?

I don't know, maybe it's just me, but "kitchen sink" is what you throw in when everything is already included. That's what the saying is getting at. It's everything and the kitchen sink (or everything but the kitchen sink), which implies the something is near infinite or uncountable. It's ...
