Re: Sega announces a new House of the Dead for the Arcades using Unreal Engine 4!

Oh wow I would be loving this, but as Zeta X mentioned, so sure if they could provide light-gun style controls. At this point though I'd think I'd settle for moving a cursor around the screen! I believe the more modern (i.e. Wii Motion Plus and later) gyro controls allow for lightgun type shooting ...

Re: Review Wish List

Pandora's Tower for Wii. It's one of the last releases for the system in NA (certainly the last AAA release here). I really like the game, and I think the Critic may believe it's an RPG like the other 2 "Operation Rainfall" games. It's actually a God of War style action game. Wii versions ...

Re: 2018/1/14: Genesis: Aero the Acro-Bat, Aero the Acro-Bat 2

I have to say that I am really surprised by the review. About a week ago I noticed the SNES Aero on my emulator ROM list and decided to give it a try, mostly because it was one of those games I remember seeing on store and rental shelves alot as a kid, which is about all I need for the game to have...

Re: How to play Dark Souls

This thread has obviously generated a lot of interest and is much-needed. My question is, what does it say about a game that requires a thread like this? Is it a knock against the design of the game? Or maybe the lack of a manual? I see the exact same kind of thing happen with Monster Hunter (anoth...

Re: The depressing reality of some Nintendo fans (a rant)

Some Nintendo fans will also act this way about 1st party releases. If it's not Mario, Zelda, or Metroid, get it out of there. I remember watching the E3 four or so years ago where Splatoon was announced and explained. The media guys and Nintendo fans on Twitter were like "enough of this new pa...

Re: Dark Souls Remastered

Your constant raving of this series is peaking my interest :D Is Bloodborne a good place to start ? Or should I wait for the remaster ? He had just peaked my interest with the other post as well, and along comes a Switch version right on cue. I think that's where I finally bite. The big screen for ...

Re: 2017/6/7: Nintendo Switch: Ultra Street Fighter II

So one of the games we got (more specifically my son got) for Christmas with our new Switch was this one. I have never, ever played so much SF. It's really shown me the value in the Switch. I can play it on the TV, in bed, or (when my connection online is important) in tabletop mode nearer the route...

Re: This months's free PS+ games

I always use their online web store to add them all to my cart at one time. It takes 2 minutes and then I have them. It's way quicker than booting up each device and going to the stores directly. You can also set the games to download to your devices on their next check in. I do the same. It has al...
