Re: Anyone exercise?

Question: WHEN do you do this? For me, the only time that is consistently available is 5am (everyone else gets up at 6), and some days it’s hard to do. My oldest son gets up at 6:00AM and my youngest and my wife get up at 7:00AM. I spend some time with my oldest at 6:00, then fit the non-cardio par...

Re: Anyone exercise?

I started working out again about 4 years ago, and it's become a passion of mine. I typically work out at the Y near my house after work for about 45-60 minutes, 5-6 days a week. I started off in my garage with just some push up bars, an exercise ball, some dumbbells (who you callin' a dumbbell?!?)...

Re: Merry Christmas!

They have the best prices and for $99 a year you just about everything delivered to your house in two days and free! For $0 an eternity, I have everything delivered to my house as soon as I bring it home with me. For the grand total eternal price of nothing ever, as soon as I am at home to use the ...

Re: Anyone exercise?

Thanks for this timely post. My preferred exercise is swimming but I've just purchased a pool and gym membership today. I'm looking for gym routines at the moment. This one looks good but perhaps I'll skip the sit-ups. I have a membership to the local YMCA. It has an indoor track, pool, weight and ...

Re: Merry Christmas!

That was way back when people used to actually drive out to stores, instead of having Amazon deliver their stuff to their front door! That's still now in this house. I have yet to understand the Amazon mindset. Everything is on sale, every day, somewhere in this town, and I live in a small place. H...

Anyone exercise?

Likely not the most popular topic in a videogame forum, I know. :) Still, I'm wondering if anyone else is into any particular routine or form of exercise or sport to stay in shape. If anyone is looking for a super geeky way to exercise, I'm 7 months into a "One Punch Man" routine. If anyon...

Re: Merry Christmas!

No sense making a new thread for 2017. Merry Christmas everyone. I'm really feeling Christmas this year. The kids are both excited and actually counting down (now being 5 and 8). They're getting a Switch they don't know about, which should be awesome. They're both in the Christmas play for our churc...

Re: The Switch as throwback gaming for adults

Something to play for 30 minutes is quickly becoming the trend for me. I really, really want to get more involved in stuff, but I just do not have the time. I am currently playing tons of COD on Wii and some Etrian Odyssey IV again (a great 30 minute at a time RPG), but when my kids get their Switch...

Re: Humble Bundle

I'd noticed it becoming a store a long time ago, so I assumed this was the direction they were going anyway. That said, I have become less and less enamored of IGN this year and I don't see this as a step in the right direction for them.

Re: A game I can "sink my teeth into"

I always look for games like this too. I get jealous of players who seem to be deeply involved in games for dozens or hundreds of hours, never getting bored of the same game, playing through multiple times, upgrading and re-reolling characters, etc. Then I buy a game I think I'll be like that with, ...
