Re: The Horror Movie Lovers Thread

The other night I watched What We Do in the Shadows - a deadpan, Spinal Tap-style mockumentary about four vampires who share a house in Wellington, New Zealand. Each vampire is different from the others - the eldest is essentially Nosferatu, one is a long-haired Vlad the Impaler type, another is a h...

Re: Portable Halloween Video Game Review Special

Good selection of games that I would not think of getting. You do not have two of the Silent Hill games on the PSP. There is a terrible one called Shattered Memories. I really wanted it but it was wii only, then I got it and found out why it was wii only. It gives you a test at the end of each leve...

Re: Anyone hyped for Samus Returns

What kills me is how long it's taken companies to bring back the 2D sequels everyone has been wanting. It's like there's been an unwritten rule for the past 20 years that game companies can only make 3D games, despite what the customers want. Who is "everyone" in this scenario? Are the 3D...

Re: 2017/8/5: Playstation: Tomorrow Never Dies, Danger Girl

Danger Girl is based on a comic book by J. Scott Campbell, who is also known for his work on Gen 13 and as a cover artist for both Marvel and DC. As a 15-year-old, Campbell won a "Invent the Ultimate Video Game" contest in Nintendo Power - his submission appeared in issue #6: web-Campbell....

The Samsung 4K TV would be your best ...

This came up a lot when I was more seriously into fighting games. This was the website that everyone would go to:

Re: First album, artist, or group that rocked your world

I'm going to say Siamese Dream by Smashing Pumpkins. My older cousin had been playing me rock music for a couple of years before that - Hendrix, Led Zeppelin, Queen, The Doors, Metallica, Anthrax, etc. - so the pump had been primed, but I didn't have enough of a musical vocabulary to identify with t...
