Re: New Tomb Raider Movie!

Rampage baffles me. There are about a thousand games that are more deserving of a movie adaptation, and yet they picked a relatively forgotten arcade game that barely even had anything resembling a plot? Also, it's releasing on April 20th (incidentally the same day as Nintendo Labo), so make of that...

Re: Recommend some anime!

This is technically a game, but it's gotten a ton of attention lately, is heavily anime-inspired, and deconstructs a lot of anime tropes, so I can't resist recommending Doki Doki Literature Club. For those of you unaware of it, it's a free visual novel game available on PC. For the first two hours, ...

Re: Recommend some anime!

It's very possible you've already seen these considering how famous they are, but Cowboy Bebop is one of the few anime I've seen where I prefer the dub and in fact can't imagine it any other way, and Studio Ghibli's movies are typically stellar. It helps that both of these don't really give off a we...

Re: Nintendo Labo

This concept grows on me the more I read about it. It's definitely out of left field and not exactly the sort of announcement we expected, but I think it looks genuinely cool and although I am wary of the price for that robot game, I look forward to seeing if this turns out to be worth it. The Switc...

Re: The depressing reality of some Nintendo fans (a rant)

This was a Direct Mini , and the announcements in those generally aren't as potentially groundbreaking as the ones in a regular Direct. NintendoLife has noted that it usually doesn't take too long for Nintendo to follow up a Direct Mini with a full Direct, so I wouldn't make any snap judgments until...

Re: 2017/12/23: Nintendo Switch: Sonic Forces

Never played Sonic Forces, but Sonic Mania is so good I think it's absolutely worth biting the bullet and downloading. It's pretty telling that even before both games came out, the vast majority of Sonic fans were far more excited for Mania than Forces.

Re: Star wars the last jedi

A lot of people seem to really hate this movie, but I consider it to be at the very least an improvement over the overly derivative The Force Awakens. Ever since TFA came out, there's been tons of people defending the prequels, and I heavily disagree with most of them. Even if there are certain thin...

PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds (Xbox One)

As many of you are no doubt aware, this is a staggeringly successful multiplayer shooter that somehow managed to outsell all of its rivals by a considerable margin even though it's an early access title that only became available earlier this year whose developers who were previously relatively unkn...

Re: Worst Types of Levels?

Not a level per se, but I hate whenever games use switch puzzles like the one shown here in Resident Evil 7's Not a Hero DLC:

When have these puzzles ever been fun to solve?
