Re: Music!

TWO things:

1. If you dig the MM2 soundtrack, YouTube Bit Brigade. They cover the soundtrack live while a fan plays the game.

2. As great as the MM2 soundtrack is, Battle Kid 2 still has my favorite tunes. The game (and the soundtrack) is basically a faster Mega Man. Love it.

Re: Nintendo Labo

Just wait for all the off brand plastic versions of these!!

Actually, it’s interesting that Nintendo went the cardboard route instead of the plastic accessory thing. I’m glad the did, but it’s just a surprising choice.

Re: How does your wife/significant other/mom deal with your video games?

The ideal thing would be to play video games WITH your family. But you can’t force someone to be interested in things they’re not. I play with my kids, but not my wife. So, because gaming is so involved, I reserve solo playing to after she’s asleep or not home. Otherwise, I read....much easier to st...

Re: Star wars the last jedi spoilers ahead.

To me, Star Wars films are filled with campy and cheesy comedy. Or attempts st it. Most are dumb, some are charming.

My theory is that it worked well in the 80s, but clashes more with a modern AAA movie.

Seems like TLJ does a good job of winning people over the second viewing.

Re: Star wars the last jedi spoilers ahead.

It’s important to remember that this is a bridge movie between TFA and whatever the next one is. So some things that don’t make sense in TLJ May in a few years (like the point of the casino scene).

When empire came out, fans were pretty divided then too....

Re: I got a Switch . . & I like it!

OP is the classic example of forming a firm opinion about something without actually experiencing the product itself. It’s So annoying. Next time, please say “I’ll reserve judgement until I have a chance to play it”. Lol. Just joking (sort of). The time was right for the Switch. The Nintendo formula...

The grocery store where I worked for years had a bro geo cabinet, and I played WJ more than anything. Love this game.

THIS is super easy. Since you’re torn, do nothing. There is literally nothing forcing you to make a decision now. So let it stay, and see how you feel in a month or a year.

Re: Christmas Loot

Man... some of you guys get a LOT of stuff, wow. I got one present and one present only, a flow hive for keeping bees. I'm really, really excited to give that a shot this year. Keeping bees is something I've wanted to do for many, many years now. I know man. I think $100-150 is spent on each family...
