Re: Beyond Good and Evil 2

I remember a string about obscene language in Rise of the Tomb Raider and to be honest, I don't recall noticing any harsh language. Maybe it was embedded into the game well enough not to call attention to it. However, with this trailer, it was all about the unnecessary amount of swearing and it REAL...

Re: Favorite Guitarists?

Michael Schenker (UFO/Scorpions/solo) – Not only an amazing amount of speed and technical ability but also quite a bit of melody for a “hard rock/heavy metal” guitarist. My favorite guitar solo of all time would be Rock Bottom from Strangers in the Night. Steve Hackett (Genesis/solo) – Way too many ...

Re: Worst Songs From Your Favorite Bands?

In comparison to the rest of the catalogue for these bands, which are among my favorites: Genesis - I can't dance (the song is far below par for Genesis and the video only hurts) Judas Priest - Lochness Blackfield - Go to Hell (this song really bothers me lyrically. I don't mind angry songs but this...

Re: Favorite Album Openers

This was hard for me as there are so many outstanding album openers but as I was putting this list together, I found it was mostly comprised of songs that had an impact on my musical tastes throughout my life, not necessarily the best openers, or even my favorite opening tracks. I also limited my li...

Re: Loudness Wars?

It takes some pretty poor production/mastering to make me notice a problem as I am partially deaf but I've followed some of the discussions on this topic, mostly from Steven Wilson. I found this comment from him amusing "Please note that this record may not be mastered as loudly as some of the ...

Re: External Hard Drives

I have a 2TB external hard drive for my Xbox One and play almost everything off that drive. It is the default location for all installs. There has been no need for me to copy back and forth. I'm not sure if it is true (or if I believe it) but I've heard games play better off an external drive.

Re: Worst Movies of 2016!

I am, and always will be, puzzled by the hatred directed at Batman Vs. Superman. It seems like if a movie is not universally acclaimed, it is universally panned - there is no middle of the road. I would agree that there are some things that bring the movie down to less than perfect but what superher...

Re: Resurgence of Split-screen?

I think this is great for the people who like it (I don't) but I'm very curious if the people who didn't buy Halo 5 because of this feature missing will go back to the franchise. I suspect there is going to be a lot of "I'll never forgive Microsoft" or something similar.

Re: Best Buy Blues

The sad part about all of this is that as soon as the retail stores go out of business, the prices on Amazon/online will skyrocket.
