Another reason to hate the digital age

I purchased the Call of Duty Infinite Warfare Legacy Edition over the Black Friday weekend sale for $55 figuring I did want to play Infinite Warfare (IW) so I was basically getting a $4 discount as well as Modern Warfare (MW) Remastered for ‘free’. As many people know, IW came on a physical disk and...

Re: A discussion on Microsoft/Nintendo's lack of confidences in the Xbox One/Wii U, and the future of exclusives?

I'm torn between opinions on the Xbox One/Windows 10 issue. Personally, I have a Windows 10 laptop and while it has reasonable specs, there is no way it will run any of the modern graphics heavy game such as Forza Horizon 3, Gears of War, and others. I also wouldn't want to play these types of games...

Re: Beautiful/emotional songs that were popular during your childhood

Cat's in the Cradle (1975) by Harry Chapin will always be one of the most emotional songs ever written. Also, Us and Them (1973) by Pink Floyd. I feel old now.

Re: Proof that Metacritic/Rotten Tomatoes is useless!

As long as people/websites have an agenda, no place on the internet is safe from bias. Both professional and user reviews are fast becoming a joke. I'm not as familiar with Rotten Tomatoes but the weighting factor that Metacritic uses also seems very flawed. The combination of biased reviews and a w...

Re: 2016/12/11: Playstation 4: Geometry Wars 3: Dimensions, Titanfall 2

I have, and just completed, this game for Xbox One and didn't experience any crashes. I agree it is one of the better games this year. I really enjoyed the time travel level, the 'house building' level and the titan battle levels but found some of the wall running very difficult and frustrating at t...

Re: Happy 15th Anniversary Xbox

While I did own a PlayStation and a couple of games, I would consider the Xbox my first 'modern' generation system since it was the first console since my Colecovision that I played routinely - almost every day. I have many fond memories of it including my first experience playing online and games I...

Re: The Cleveland Sports Curse Is Finally Over

As a resident of Cleveland for the last 4 years, it's nice to see Cleveland have such a great year with 2 championship teams. However, I also lived in Chicago for 31 years so I'm hopeful the Cubs not only with the NL championship but also beat Cleveland :o
