Re: Rise of the Tomb Raider (Xbox One)

I recently completed this game and touched on the Expedition mode and I must be numb to violence and profanity since I don't even remember any language that was out of place. And isn't that the point? Your post implies that the language and violence are out of place. Are you referring to "real ...

Re: 360 Perfect Dark Zero

This was always one of my favorite Xbox 360 games and remains so to this day. I never understood the criticism against this game. I only played Perfect Dark afterwards and just couldn't get into it.

Re: 2015/12/12: Xbox One: Halo 5: Guardians

Actraiser, thanks for posting those links. It's all very interesting but I still don't think I have a problem with it. Maybe it ultimately explains my high levels of sucking on the easier difficulty levels as well as online but it certainly doesn't feel uncomfortable. Maybe I will take a look in the...

Re: 2015/12/12: Xbox One: Halo 5: Guardians

Actraiser, I've tried the online portion just a small amount and I have no idea what you are talking about. Are these settings that are configurable (".....slow at 5", ".... the 70% or so stick movement")? I'm not criticizing your comments, I'm just not familiar with these number...

Re: 2015/12/12: Xbox One: Halo 5: Guardians

I'm curious about something......if Microsoft went back to having split screen co-op and all the other 'missing' features in Halo 6 or even as an add-on to Halo 5, would people go back to the franchise or is this another instance of not forgiving the company for such a miscalculation?

Re: 2015/12/12: Xbox One: Halo 5: Guardians

Even though I haven' finished the campaign (currently Mission 11 of 15), I'd like to chime in here. It's clear that both here and many other places, points or grades are being deducted for missing functionality such as split-screen co-op. As I've stated in other posts, that doesn't matter to me. How...

Re: Xbox One backwards compatiility

I've tried this. I figured it was a good opportunity to try something from my backlog, which is Gears of War 3. I've only tried the campaign so far and only completed the first act but it seems to work just fine. Plus, I don't know if people would count Rare Replay as part of the backwards compatibi...

Re: No Split Screen in Halo 5

Actraiser, it was not you who I noted had Halo 5 in their profile :) However, I must express some disappointment that you posted a 1 star review on Amazon without playing/owning the game. Given the recent incident with fake Rock Band 4 reviews posted by Harmonix employees, it just proves, or at leas...

Re: No Split Screen in Halo 5

I took this survey and answered honestly. I don't play any couch co-op games and only a few times/month for online multiplayer. It's timing as a survey is an obvious reaction to the Halo 5 backlash. Personally, I don't care if it comes back since I don't play it but I still think it is a shame that ...

Re: Funny article nails the frustrations with 8th gen consoles

I'm not sure I find articles like this funny or useful and I'm not really sure about the purpose of it. First of all, I don't believe half of it really happened. Also, how is it the fault of Xbox or any of the new generation consoles that he can't remember his login credentials? Granted, I've experi...
