Re: What reviews do you get excited about?

I found this site looking for Genesis reviews, and they get the most excitement out of me. But I've discovered that N64 and Dreamcast games are close!

Re: question about the nes

I bought a Retron 2 about 2 years ago, and while I don't play NES or SNES super frequently, it has worked beautifully for me. Plus the trusty yellow/red/white jacks made it a snap to route through my video selector and into my receiver for good 8- and 16-bit tunes. If I hadn't already had 2 Genesise...

Re: 200 Greatest Games Of The '90s- By The VGC Community

#53. NHL 94 - Sega Genesis, October 1993 NHL94.jpg This is the seminal entry in an annual series that is now over 20 years old. It is the measuring stick for every hockey game released since. So much so that current versions are released with an 'NHL 94' controller setup! It was the first year to f...

Re: city building games history

I found that article to be fascinating. I played a ton of SimCity 3000. I've never played Tropico, but I'd love a console game with that type of strategy/style. Anyone have some suggestions, or have experience with Tropico?

Re: Mobile Site Revamped!

I think it'd be cool if the consoles were by generation, either chronological or alphabetical within that grouping.

I use the mobile site about 95% of the time. Once in a while I'll go to the full site on my laptop.

I'm enjoying the mobile site updates - keep up the great work!

Re: State of the Site Address 2016

If you're looking for suggestions, I'd love to see reviews of the portable systems, not just the games for them. Your system reviews, while outdated, are full of great info, and I'd appreciate your take on the portables, especially since I don't own any and am interested in getting one or two!

Re: Fall Gaming?

I'll absolutely vouch for the College Football USA games for the Genesis. They are essentially the Madden engine but with every Division I football program. They have all the conferences, top 25 rankings, fully customizable schedules, and the "create-a-player" function. They also offer the...

Re: Fall Gaming?

It's interesting that NCAA Gamebreaker is being mentioned because I thought the first one on the PS1 was good. It was one of the first college football games (if not the first) to have top 25 rankings. I think I'm going to have to disagree on this, as I believe College Football USA 97 (and possibly...

Re: Article: Which Console Should I Buy?

I agree with scotland. This article was a good start, but I think you backed off at the end and should have given a much stronger opinion on each, as well as listed the top titles for each system.
