IT occurs to me that Star Fox is Nintendo's 'Sonic'

[QUOTE=Atarifever]
That sentence could have also been true if you'd said a Barbie game by Treasure. Basically, a Treasure game based on anything would be great.

I lost my composure when I read that. XD

Why are handhelds so quiet today?

I first observed this when I upgraded from an original black and white gameboy to a gameboy color. I later noticed it when I got a second hand Game Gear for a while.

This observation is, old handhelds are LOUD. Seriously, if you max out the volume on these people can hear you all the way ac...

Rareware does not work for Nintendo anymore. Consequently I doubt we'll see another Starfox game in the true spirit of Starfox 64.

You know what would kick some major ass, though? A Starfox game made by TREASURE.

Snow Stories?

I don't have a video game related snow story, but it's still a snow story.

Some time around 2001 or so there was a huge ice storm in my area. Everything outside was coated in at least an inch worth of ice. It was impossible to open car doors (or house doors, for that matter) and everything wa...

DREAM PINBALL / DS / A+

An A+ from the friendly neighborhood Alienblue is nothing to be taken lightly. I'll keep an eye out for this one!

VGC Playing Chrono Trigger on DS

Good for you, Dave! I got this one for Christmas and I enjoy it a lot.

Um... I'm not sure how far you should get. That might be a question for someone who's beaten the SNES version completely. Personally I think you ought to beat it all the way.

My take on the DSi

At first I was apathetic about this.

Then I relented, cause I realized I've also secretly dreamed that Nintendo would remake Gameboy Camera. Remember that thing? You could take photos, make little animations, and paste your face as a sprite in a video game. It's still pretty fun even today. A...

Wii Market is Full of ....

People need to inform themselves before they buy games. I openly admit that the DS is flooded with shovelware, but I have no problem avoiding it and sticking with gems like Contra 4, New Super Mario Bros., Chrono Trigger, etc. Folks need to just do a little research beforehand.

Sometimes it is best to start over...

I have to take a LOOONG break from games like that before I can replay them. I first beat Metroid Prime in 2003 and rebeat it in 2007, so I agree with the "like rereading a favorite book" analogy. But it takes a long time before I'm interested in investing the sort of time it takes to beat these gam...

MOON DS

I have basically no enthusiasm or interest for this game. I've watched videos for it and it looks like a lower-budget, even more soulless version of Metroid Prime Hunters.
