Fatal Frame coming to the Wii U

I was hoping that they'd be desperate here with the loss of Zelda U this year, and sure enough, they must've been. Fatal Frame U has been confirmed for North America. <img align="absmiddle" alt="[smile]" src="/images/boards/smilies/smile.gif" border="0" /><br /><br />And no, it's not an April Fools ...

Atari Anthology (PS2)

What did you think of the higher numbered games in Asteroids (Specifically, how asteroids suddenly gain some horizontal movement in, I think, even numbered games)? That made a huge difference as a kid when I discovered that. When optimally set up, I think this is one of the console's best arcade con...

2015/3/24: PSP: SNK Arcade Classics 0 (Japan)

Actually, it was developed by G1M2, a contract studio for publisher SNK. <br /><br />G1M2 is known for Data East Arcade Classics on the Wii and the better received SNK Neo Geo compilations from a few generations ago (Terminal Reality did some others, often to poor effect).<br /><br />They're also th...

2015/3/24: PSP: SNK Arcade Classics 0 (Japan)

Too bad that the original Vanguard was left off here along with several other pre Neo Geo SNK games that have since been made available as standalone downloads on the PSP, Vita, and PS3). Vanguard would've been the highlight of it for me.<br /><br />Vanguard 2 reminds me more of something like the T...

I can't figure out Club Nintendo.

I got Metroid Prime 3 to go through a few months back, but think that my Metroid Prime Trilogy code was expired.

Another one of those things that doesn't make sense.

2015/3/21: NES: Balloon Fight, Al Unser Jr. Turbo Racing, Batman

[QUOTE=eneuman96]Slight error in the Balloon Fight review: "...it's hard to believe Nintendo wasn't sued by Atari!" Joust was originally created by Williams (though Midway owned it for a while in the late 90's and 2000's, hence why it's in several Midway collections), and Atari only produced the ver...

I can't figure out Club Nintendo.

Were they older DS and Wii codes? I haven't heard of any 3DS or Wii U codes yet expiring.<br /><br />Much of it doesn't even make sense for what's good and what isn't for these two platforms. For instance, my Spirit Tracks code was expired for me from late 2009. Yet my Phantom Hourglass code from wh...

Atari Anthology (PS2)

<p>There's no way around that with a classic Atari compilation, since they often utilized controls other than a digital 8 way stick. Just the nature of the beast that many of the better games are oftentimes all but unplayable (And sadly, the multiplayer nature of several other good games on here tak...

Atari Anthology (PS2)

I've enjoyed reading your impressions, which in many ways mirror my own. There's some variations there of course, but overall, they're quite similar such as our feelings towards Crystal Castles. <br /><br />Moving on to the 2600, I can't urge enough to be sure to check out the manual for each t...

Intellivision Multicart?

There's the Cuttle Cart III. But it's out of production and has been sold out for a couple of years now, so one has to purchase it off the secondary marketplace (And likely at a pretty hefty markup, judging by Atari 7800 Cuttle Cart II prices.). <br /><br />But two new multicarts are on the way...
