Re: New Sega Genesis beat 'em up: Paprium

An 80 MEG cart?! My God! For a 16-bit cart, that's absolutely huge! If I remember correctly, the biggest Genny cart was Super Street Fighter II, which clocked in at 40!

Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild (Wii U, with spoilers)

I've been holding off on reviewing BotW until I could digest as much of it as possible, dissecting the game's strengths, and debating it's flaws. After pumping twenty-five hours into it, I'm now able to offer my semi-definitive verdict: First off, this game is HUGE! I'm still finding new areas, and ...

Re: The Disney Afternoon Collection announced for Everything but the Nintendo Switch!

Sorry for the double post, but I feel like it needs to be addressed. No system has thrived, on a global scale, without meaningful contributions from third parties. Nintendo makes some of the best games in the industry, yes, but they can't succeed by themselves. Even the Wii, through the mountains of...

Re: The Disney Afternoon Collection announced for Everything but the Nintendo Switch!

I just looked up the sales of DuckTales Remastered and it sold better on Wii U than on any other platform, so i don't think your theory holds up Banjo No offense, but how, exactly, did you obtain the figures? VGChartz? Their numbers have been proven, time and again, to not be the most accurate. Als...

Re: The Disney Afternoon Collection announced for Everything but the Nintendo Switch!

When I read this, I was irritated by the news....but then I thought about it, and it makes sense, in a way. When you go on Nintendo forums, and the topic of third-party releases pops up, there are countless "I buy Nintendo consoles for 1st party games only" comments. I think that developer...

Re: Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild (Switch)

The more I play the less I like exploring a huge world to find brittle weapons that break in one fight against trash mobs and then repeating. I thought it was one of the best design changes to the Zelda formula. It forces players to explore even more for rusty weapons or at least seek out enemies w...

Re: What I would have done with the Switch if I were Nintendo

I have been a skeptic of the Switch since the presentation. When I saw the reveal, I was optimistic, but couldnt help but feel the big N was pushing more gimmicks. Upon its release, the reviews are mixed. I am still skeptical and dont feel it will have the longevity needed to be a successful consol...

Re: Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild (Switch)

I'm seven hours in, and I'm actually going to admit that this is either the best Zelda since LttP, or the best game in the series! It gets rid of the hand holding that, in my opinion, dragged the series down, ramps up the difficulty, and brought back the sense of wonder from the first game! I was se...

Re: Switch Impressions

I was apprehensive about picking the game up for Wii U because I was nervous that they (Nintendo) would release a janky, bug riddled port. Thankfully, it turned out great! It runs very smoothly, for the most part, and it looks terrific! Had this game been a Switch exclusive, it would have been the b...
