Re: Worst Songs From Your Favorite Bands?

THIS should be interesting. It's tough to rip your favorite artists, but which songs from your favorite bands just suck/are weak in comparison to the rest of the catalogue? Smashing Pumpkins-Tales of a Scorched Earth: Mellon Collie was a classic album that took a lot of risks, but this song is just...

Re: 2017/4/27: Lynx: Baseball Heroes, Ninja Gaiden III

Good reviews, but----how did a massively pixelated port with awful music and mushy controls get a better review than the NES original which, if I recall correctly, scored a C-? Shouldn't the better version get the better review?

Re: Lynx Vs. Game Gear

I didn't own, nor play, a Lynx until Christmas of 2010. Honestly, I immediately fell in love with it, and regret ignoring it in favor of the gameboy. Looking back, I would have loved to have been able to take games like Ms. Pac Man, Dirty Larry, Pit Fighter (I know, shut up), Toki, Klax, Dracula, an...

Re: Nintendo Switch Game Wishlist

If the rumor is somehow true, that From Software has managed to get Dark Souls 3 running on Switch, I'd kill for the rumored trilogy! Dark Souls on the go?! Yes, please! I'd buy the system tomorrow! I don't want the Switch to be a dumping ground for lazy ports and iOS games. I would like to see Nint...

Re: Ninja Gaiden 3 (Lynx)

When I still had my Lynx (God, I miss it!!), I managed to make it to the final boss in this scaled-down port. They actually did a pretty commendable job, even though the game was pixelated beyond belief and the music was pretty god-awful! What really hurt the game, though, was the mushy controls! Th...

Re: R.I.P. NES Classic (Thanks, Nintendo!)

Exactly! Remember Steer? He was a perfect example of that mindset! He HATED DLC....until Nintendo started doing it. I've seen so many of these devotees hold up BotW as the reason to own a Switch, and as proof that Nintendo are the greatest thing since sliced bread, but I counter that with this: in t...

Re: R.I.P. NES Classic (Thanks, Nintendo!)

There's a really good article on Game Informer's website that addresses the ridiculousness of Nintendo pulling the plug on the NES Classic. Part of the problem, as stated by the author, are Nintendo apologists; he makes a good point by mentioning that there's no such thing as an EA apologist, or an ...

Have Any of you Ever Came Up with an idea for a video game?

I know that some of you are actually game designers, but this question is mainly directed at the average gamer who has no experience with development. Every now and then, I'll think of an idea that seriously makes me wish that I had the tools, the knowledge, and the education necessary to bring an i...

Re: R.I.P. NES Classic (Thanks, Nintendo!)

I have a feeling that I'm getting really tired of how difficult they are, as a company! It's like they go out of their way to p*** people off! I can almost understand artificial supply to create an artificial demand, but to create this shortage to drive up demand but yet never intend to satisfy said...
