Old SP Vs. new DS?

<P style="MARGIN: 0px">"Also, you said that you can get the SNES GameBoy player for $30 used, that seems very expensive, as my local stores carry at least 20 of them for $3.99 to $10 used depending on location. But the SNES player is what you seek if you don't want to play your older GameBoy ga...

Old SP Vs. new DS?

From your options I would go with the DS lite, and the GB player for the SNES. Even better though, if you have a Gamecube, get the GBA player and the DS lite. I think I saw one for $30.00 new on ebay. If you did this you could play GB color games, too.

3d Tetris and Waterworld (Virtual Boy)

<P style="MARGIN: 0px">The Virtual Boy was a short lived system, so it didn't get very many games. Fortunately, the few games that it did get were suprisingly fun. Check the Critic's reviews to read about these games. I'm going to tell you about the bad ones. Why, you ask? So you can avoid them of c...

Brain Age

Someone reviewed it over in the reader reviews section. You should go check it out, although the later posts are just rants about false advertising.

old videogame commercials

<P>Those are really cool. I remember a lot of them, and I believe I have the Kirby Pinball Land commercial on an old VHS (with a Christmas movie, my family recorded Christmas specials). I find it hilarious that old system commercials went on smear campaigns; especially with the ill-fated "...

Summer Games!

<P>Blue Wave was released early in the Gamecube's life (it may have been a launch title), and was not very well advertised if I remember correctly. If I didn't read Game Informer I never would have heard of it. The game is probably not on the list, because of a combination of it being obscure, and i...

Does the Critic know a good soccer game?

The Fifa series on the Genesis is pretty fun; I believe that the Critic has them reviewed. I also recommend World Cup Soccer on the NES, but only for 2 players, because 1 player is way too easy. I can't help you with anything recent, though.

Dead System (DS)

<P>I do agree that most of the time selling games separately would get more value, but for some reason this is not the case with the DS. People seem to pay more for a packaged DS than the cost of the individual items together on ebay. In your case it would be a great idea to expl...
