2013/8/20: Super Nintendo: Donkey Kong Country 2: Diddy's Kong Quest, Ninja Warriors

DKC2 may have been much harder than the first, but when you got that last Hero Coin you felt like you earned it. Plus the screen that shows your rankings on those has Sonic The Hedgehog's shoes in the background (hahaha). You can't deny that sweet music on the rollercoaster levels either.

Nin...

Consider me to be one of those hardcore fans of VO. The first arcade game is just amazing, and I was really happy to see all the characters make it to the sequel along with a few new ones. Did you play the Japanese port? The reason it asks you to save is for replay files that let you backup video of...

2013/8/6: Arcadia 2001: Astro Invader, Combat, Route 16

Route 16 was originally an arcade game, and also received a Famicom port known as Route 16 Turbo by Sunsoft -- just as good as this Arcadia version sounds

2013/7/27: Super Nintendo: Metal Combat, Yoshi's Safari

I had my Super Scope pretty much since the day it was released, and when I found out there was gonna be a game with Mario and Yoshi I jumped at it right away. I don't think the game deserves such a low score, because the second "quest" is considerably more challenging and the hackneyed story changes...

2013/7/16: Atari 7800: Mean 18, Scramble

I could tell Mean 18 was developed by Accolade, the swing meter on the left is exactly the same as their Jack Nicklaus Golf. Looks really good!

Plus, another mention of the Pain Line joysticks! Love that. Too bad we never got those pads.

Sounds like the Hornet was giving you a hard time in the FM Survival mode. Probably even moreso that it was on the game.com.

I am happy to see Rygar on the Lynx is a faithful arcade port. The original is great, it's on Tecmo Classic Arcade (Xbox). Have you tried it on the NES? It's not a true port, but it adds an adventure/exploration element which wasn't too bad.

It's nice to finally see Robocop vs. Terminator review! Some of the best music I ever heard on the Genesis.

2013/4/1: Atari 2600: Bioshock 2600, Slot Racers, Tax Avoiders

According to AtariAge, Tax Avoiders was done by an IRS employee. Makes you wonder why it's easy to lose your real life money buying the thing and even losing your in-game money!
