Re: Fall Gaming?

Good feedback so far, but are there any Fall games from the 16-bit era or before that I should investigate? Most of these games are fairly new. I highly recommend playing Twinkle Tale for the Genesis. It's game play is in the same vein as MERCS except you are a Witch that has to battle a Horde of D...

Re: Online Aggravation

The NFL is just as responsible in this as EA. They probably like this arrangement as it makes it easier to control the content and how the league is portrayed in video games.

Re: 20th anniversary of Playstation

Can't wait for the PS5, where you'll be required to scan your driver's license and social security card to play. Ha, ha that sucks. Here's another lost reason to the love the PS1; it plays CDs. Back in college none of my roommates had a good CD player. We had plenty of CDs though. When the chicks c...

Re: Online Aggravation

EA has a monopoly on NFL video games so they have us by the balls and will squeeze as hard as they can to milk every penny out of us they can. So what other online nfl choices do we have Voor? Zero zip nadda. So yes we are forced to deal with this crap if we want to play NFL online with our games co...

Re: What video game system would you never sell off

Never in a million years would I sell my Genesis. Amen brother! To this day I play it ten times as much as my Xbox one, ps4 or wii u. There are so many gems on this console. Today I found another one called Misadventures of Flink. It's beautify animated with gorgeous graphics and tight gameplay. Se...

Re: 20th anniversary of Playstation

3d games haven't aged well for the most part. The more conservative with the 3d the better it has aged. Compare doom though for ps1 vs jaguar. The ps1 version could be considered the definitive version while the jaguar version barely playable. Doom on ps1 had amazing music and smooth gameplay. Jagua...

Re: 20th anniversary of Playstation

Seems like a lot of hate going around for PS1. This console was jaw dropping when it came out. Ridge Racer blew my mind as a teenager. There is a ton of games still great today on this console. My personal favorites are the jrpg's and shmups. Breath of fires, Final Fantasies,Dragon Quests, r-types, ...

Re: What video game system would you never sell off

I would never sell my JVC X eye or any of my games for the Genesis sega cd. It's my favorite console and I keep finding hidden gems I never knew about thanks to fan translation ports of Japanese games that never made it to NA. They also are still developing new Genesis games. My other console I love...

I just figured this would work like an OUYA except run IOS instead of android. Is there more to it than this?
