Re: Top 5 Game Boy Advance Games

I recent started sinking my teeth into the GBA for the first time and I'm berry impressed. I have played what seems like countless hours on only two games so far. 1. Castlevania: Aria of Sorrow Great gameplay and graphics. Plays more like an action RPG which is why I chose this game. I've been on a ...

Re: Top 5 Genesis Games

Y's Why do so many people on the Internet do this? It's Ys. The games take place in a land called Ys. Nothing belongs to the letter Y in any of them. Your right. So I'll remember in the future I'll just spell it phonetically and call it Ease. Thank God for people like you on the Internet correcting...

Re: Top 5 Genesis Games

My top 5 Genesis games: 1 Twinkle Tale (Favorite run and gun game ever!) 2 Dragon's Fury (hours just melt away playing this game) 3. Y's 3 (This game introduced my to action RPG's when I was a kid, it is a bit to short) 4. Lightening Force (Favorite Shmup just beating out MUSHA) 5. Streets of Rage 2...

Galaga '88 on TG16 was best remake of a classic game. Somehow they took a great game and made it perfect!

Re: Free to Play Gaming getting worse ?

I think Richard Garfield has a lot of nerve to talk about pay to win games since MTG was the epitome of this type of thing. When I was younger I probably spent $3000+ on MTG. This is chump change compared to what some of the whales in the gaming community spend. I took this hobby very seriously and ...

Re: Most Worthless Console You have Ever Owned?

3DO was a good console in its day but has probably aged the worst of any console. Not a single shmup in the entire library. Even the Jaguar had a few shmups.

Re: Most Worthless Console You have Ever Owned?

Wally I have only seen a Vectrex in the flesh one time months ago. But I just cannot imagine getting into that either. I also don't do portables. I just want a nice big tv screen to game on, sitting back in a lounge chair and eating pizza and drinking beer. Good times! Absolutely agree! I only play...

Re: Most Worthless Console You have Ever Owned?

I'll probably get hate for this but I didn't like the Vectrex. I even had the multi cart for it but it's rubbish. I didn't like the tiny screen and short spiral wired controllers. The games are mostly knockoffs of something else. To be fair I didn't have any overlays but I don't see that making a hu...

Re: This website and the people on the forum.

I found this website in early 2000's when I was searching the Web for a review of Dragon fire on 2600 and this was the only one on the net.
